I am finally in the club!

Played this a lot (every day) back in the days.

Looking forward to fixing all the small stuff. The usual: Ted eyelids, apron, and Cliffy protectors to the start city and blast hole.

I have the LX-3 roms, but I can't seem to find how to turn off the shaker? Any hints? New roms?

Pauz21 Here is a picture with the function and coil. It should be on the inside of the machine. Behind the light board.

I talked to NinJaBooT about doing the Red & Teds Road Show. All the aprons are rusted due to lack of proper(?) paint.

Does anyone have the correct dimensions on the apron?

Quoted from Davi:

I can prepare a drawing during the weekend.

That would be great!

We need a magnetic apron for this game.

#1159 6 years ago

i would rather have the magnetic apron, they look great

Quoted from Jeanclaudev:

For those people who have a RS, can they tell me how the cities are selected by the game, when the setting is straight path ? An example should be fine.

I have only had the game on the longer path, I will try it out with the short path and chime back.

Working on a software modification to Road Show.

Thank you so much for doing this!

It will make the game even more enjoyable!

Will you also make it randomize the same for all players in tournament mode?

@soren I have been thinking about the code for Roadshow, would it be possible to make the dozer hits in the taxi mode to advance multi ball days?
would it also be possible to have both modes and multi ball running at the same time?

#1682 5 years ago

Definitely the B version, it looks very nice. Looking forward to play the final version.

My dozer eddy board often goes out of adjustment. Is there a cheaper way to fix it than buying the improved eddy board?

Maybe you have the older code revision. It’s in the newest.

The only tips I have regarding removing teds head is: take it all off. It took a lot of time. I was trying to remove as little as possible. That took a lot more time than to just remove it all. In the end I removed everything an changed all the rubbers while I was at it. I also changed all the parts in teds head.

Quoted from Spacemanratso09:

Do I have to take the ramps off to replace this piece?

Ted is a f to remove. Just search in this thread and you will see.

Don’t do what I did, I was trying to be lazy, just removing what I thought was needed. In the end, you have to remove everything.

The game plays fine with one eyelid less. I say, play it and do it when you have time. Lots of time.

Quoted from CaptainCaverne:

both parts are available at Pinball.Center, they're located in Germany but they do ship worldwide.

Buyer beware. They sell parts that they make themselves without any license. The quality is often very poor.

Quoted from Phantasize:

When contacted, they just say that all pinball colors vary, because of age and fading...

This!

Quoted from Lhyrgoif:

When you have reassembled the heads, connect them to the game connectors and test the functionality BEFORE you put everything else (ramps, diverter, helmets, faceplates, subway ...) back into the game.

When you have to disassemble everything to get to the head, do yourself a favor and change out the rubbers and clean in the back.

Hi. I come to the Road Show thread looking for a favor. I do not own a Road Show. I need pair of eyes that are trashed and not usable---for project I want to try.
If anybody has a couple of eyes laying around and would be willing to part with them, please send me a PM.
Thank you.

Maybe Pascal can help you

I suddenly got a problem with my game.
Top jet, trough coil and Ted eyes left stopped working.
The fuses are good, I have reseated the connectors. Still not working.
Anyone got any thing more to try?

Quoted from SimplePin:

What do you guys generally set your buy in to? I have it set at factory currently which is like 5 buy ins. Feels like cheating?

zero buy in. Its your game, do what you want. Bragging rights for scores is excluded when you have buy in

Is there a setting in roadshow to empty all the locked balls after game over?
I can’t find it in the menu.
Theirs is very nice to have in a tournament setting.
