It does not register the hit and then sometimes it keeps on registering the hit and wont stop. Does this mean the bull dozier piece needs to be replaced?

No you need to adjust the eddy sensor. Look under the playfield right below the front of the dozer, there will be a small board with an LED on it turn the tiny screw you see until the led turns on(it may already be on) then back it off just a hair after it turns off, test with a pinball should make the light go on.
Cool thanks.. i just got the machine.. i guess that the shaker motor causes some problems that can be fixed on the spot.. thanks
