Quoted from Pmaino:

I am currently restoring a Whirlwind and was wondering what options i have for Rivet tools. There are a few rivets on this game( signs, plastics, ramps, etc). Does anyone have any recommendations on what I can used ? I have a riveting tool but that seems like it will be too damaging for delicate plastics.
Some recommendations I have seen are for the Rivet press from pinrestore but was hoping there was a cheaper option.

thanks in advance for any advice.

I use the rollover punch (third item down) to clinch the rivets and the cupped die (fourth item down right side) to hold the head of the rivet. I put the cupped die in a vice and use the rollover die to clinch the rivet using a hammer. I put a piece of tape on the side of the work with the rivet head to keep from marring the ramp/plastic/etc.
