Hello all! I picked up Riverboat Gambler this week and after looking at it closer I think it may be a prototype or early production. I noticed a for sale ad here on Pinside a couple of days ago for a Riverboat Gambler Prototype #9. Mine seems to be similar. I’m questioning if this is a prototype or not because I saw some pics of on IPDB that had a different prototype backglass. It looks like the serial number on mine is #25. Correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks for your input!

I do not know about prototypes. But I believe there were approximately 200 diamond plated ones. Mine was a diamond plate but not a proto. It had those same proto ROMs though

Yours is a sample game, not a proto. The proto Riverboat Gamblers have a X in the serial number.
