Two of my favorite shows as a kid and my favorite pinball designer of all time.I love both of these pinball machines. I have never owned either and had to pay to play every example I have ever come across.
Which one is your favorite and why?

Wow! looks like Twilight Zone is winning by a landslide. I started thinking which was better just recently. I should say I had to re-think how good Twilight Zone was. I have always loved Twilight Zone but sometimes found it a bit boring. It was hard to admit it to myself, I guees because I was awestruck with the theme/toys/widebody/good music. But back when it came out I seemed to always play a couple of games on it and then move on to Funhouse etc. But I always LOVED Twilight Zone, I was so wowed by it.
Later RBION came out. I played and did not like it at first. I was like,"Damn..this is too easy. I can make all of these shots." But then I started paying attention to what was going on and realized how complex the game is. The more I have played both, and got over the WOW factor of TZ, the harder it is for me figure out which one I would like to own the most.
Quoted from badbilly27:TZ is far superior to RBION. This one isn't close apples to apples. Get into the Zone.
I agree we are not talking apples to apples. I mean, I am sure we could go on all day just about wide body vs standard attributes and weaknesses. BUT...
I wonder how much of TZ s greatness comes from our memories. Nostalgia...I mean it basically followed the greatest selling pinball machine of all time and was Pat's "Swan Song" with Williams right before the decline of The Golden Age. (I guess you could count Road Show) Anyway that is a LOT of memories, ground breaking, wow factor etc. and TZ is just freakin' AWESOME! I love to play it. But still, after a couple of games, my pulse isn't pumping with me biting at the bit to pound another quarter (or two) in. Sometimes RBION does that for 5 or 6 games before I move on.
Quoted from TheLaw:This of course has to do with playing TZ 10000 times
And maybe this statement explains why I feel the way I do about the new (relatively) kid on the block.
Quoted from Caucasian2Step:The only reasonable choice is to get them both.
This is of course the absolutely correct answer.
That is until the new JJP Lawlor game comes out. We will see.
