    Hello everyone,
Total newbie to pins (collecting vids for the past 20 years), so please be gentle.

I have a Ripley's that seems to randomly reset when calculating score between balls. This only occurs on scores above 70 million. It is almost guaranteed to happen as the score increases.

Did some basic voltage tests.... But not sure where to go from here. Any direction would be appreciated.

    Thank you

Something very odd here. A score of over 70M on Ripley's would be very rare indeed. Like 20-30M is a very good score. I used to own Ripley's and have played it in league for years and have only broken 100M once or twice.

Also, resets should be totally independent of the score. Have you checked the 5 volts at the driver board and again at the CPU?

Thanks all... Place to get started.

Sounds like more of a software bug than a low 5V problem. Early Ripley's code was very buggy. Often causing resets. Make sure you're on the latest, or almost latest, software. In the mean time, try a factory reset to change any settings that may be causing the resets. Changed settings (not default) caused resets on early code.

The display should show what version you have during initial power-up.
