dam i loved wally... sad

It's one of the few super old shows that I've shown my kids that they actually thought was funny. The mischief that the "The Beave" would get himself mixed up in is relatable to any generation.

Sad to hear. RIP and thank you for all you did for that show.

Wait, now there are posts saying it's not true... "wife was mistaken." The Facebook post reporting his death has been removed.

This joke from Revenge of the Nerds:

I was 13 when I saw the movie and I didn't get the joke. My mind went dirtier and thought that Ward had buttsex with Beaver. At the time, I never heard "beaver" as a reference to pussy.

Anyways. Rest In Peace Tony.

True...Hair-Pie is a deeper cut but spelled out in the flick

I was always more of an Eddie Haskel guy.

I'm not dead yet!

What year did they switch to whisker biscuit?
Just curious..

But we want your liver!

He reminds me of a young Bill Clinton!

It is a shame that this mix up (confusion)
will taint his eventual passing
(I assume later this week or year)

Yeah. That seems about right.

The reports of his death have been greatly exaggerated.

#23 1 year ago

Best cameo was in the Kentucky Fried Movie courtroom scene reprising his role as Wally.

Looks like he has died ...again

That sucks dying twice. RIP

That show still holds up after all these years. The writers nailed how kids really think.

Such a shame they couldn't get the real beaver though

FINALLY.

Just Joshin' ya Wally. Cool older bro, great early episodes hair. RIP

I do remember the Beaver guesting on Married with Children. Don't remember the details, only that it was very funny.

Dow also appeared in one of the first episodes of Emergency! (1972) as a motorcyclist-looter during a brush fire evacuation scene. Found this summary clip of it on YT...

Like the Beav often said: "See ya, Wally...".

RIP
