I met him too many years ago at my distributor. He was in a hurry, but still nice to me.

I'll miss him.

Lots of young people have no idea who he is.....2 co-workers in there 30’s at my work had no clue.

Very talented....back when talent mattered to get a TV show.....

Will be missed by many for sure.

He was a hell of a guitarist, especially on the banjo. Wish I would have had a chance to see him live.

Childhood memories...Sunday evening TV ... we watched him on Hee Haw and we weren't even country fans...

I dont like country music but Roy Clark was an awesome guy and a great musician. I liked watching him on Hee Haw when i was a kid.

I just watched about 2 hours worth of youtube clips, I had know idea he was that good. What impressed me more was just how kind and genuine he seemed to be, never taking himself too seriously and quick to laugh. RIP Roy, one more bump to the top of the list. You earned it.
