Always like the old man on Pawn Stars -- used to watch the show some before it became too scripted.

The little that I did watch the show, he was alright and grumpy at times.

Love the show and will miss the old bastard...

He’s from here in my hometown. He was my favorite part of the show

He was a lot of fun on the show. RIP Mr H

One of my faves also. Will be missed.

    Rip “old man”.

His likeness and voice are immortalized on the Bally Pawn Stars slot machine.

    Rest in peace.

I kinda figured Chumlee would be the first to go. I don't really keep up with it much anymore though.

It always made me laugh how he never lost a hair on his head but would bust Rick’s balls about being bald, he had style too RIP

I think they are on tokens, t-shirts, mugs and what ever else the tourist merchandise counter sold.

I always liked the old dude.

The guy always made me laugh, I liked his witty remarks.

He made the show, always reminded me of Mr Magoo. RIP old man.

I remember the episode when the rest of the cast found out the old man was part of a "cake of the month" club that delivered/mailed him a cake each month. LOL

    He will be missed!

Sorry, but Pawn Stars was/is a joke of a show. I lost faith (and consequently stopped watching) when they appraised a Bally "Odds and Evens" pinball at a ridiculously high value.

I have a friend that used to work there and i met all the guys at a casino in Indiana where they made an appearance. Rick really set me up, bought me a hotel room and everything i wanted was paid for no matter what it was.

I only got him for 3 beers and didnt take advantage of his generosity but man Rick Harrison is a super nice guy and im happy for him and his success. The old man was a great great guy and i hated it when i read that he had passed. Chumlee was like a rock star, everyone was all over him wanting his autograph and a picture with him. He's a nice guy but definitely not a very smart guy. Hes not as dumb as the show makes him out to be but he's huffed too much paint or something in his life for sure. Big Hoss seemed like a dick to me and thought his shit didn't stink.

    R.I.P. Old Man

Think of it as professional wrestling, it's fake dude!!

Exactly, reality tv is not real. The show is not 100% fake but obviously some of it is for entertainment purposes. Pawn Stars is entertaining and you can also learn alot about certain items so it’s definitely not a total waste of time to watch it.

No, no, no. As the Old Man once said, (my favorite line of his), "Chumlee, I think you played with too much mercury when you was a kid."
RIP. He was the smartest guy in that whole shop, and the best character on that show. He had style and class.

Didn't know he had another son...

I think I read somewhere one of his sons is in a violent biker gang of some sort.

I figured a junkie or someone who would piss it all away. Makes sense if he's in a biker gang
