So I’m scheduled to be in the UK next week and the family is joining for that weekend to explore. Never been. Fellow UKers - lmk what you’re expecting as I’m sure it’s going to be crazy. We already have tickets for the tottenham game next Saturday - hopefully it’s not canceled or I might be posting tickets here for the rescheduled game! We leave 19th
So any input from the locales on how the UK is right now? Is it getting overcrowded? What’s the spirit like from folks actually there - not just the media spin on it. I can’t think of someone so universally loved than her.

The vast majority throughout the UK have immense respect and affection for the Queen and have a sense of loss.
However, the media, radio stations etc…as usual are doing there level best to go over board with the news.
Sporting events are being cancelled, playing sad ballads on Rock radio stations etc…..
Hazard a guess the Queen wouldn’t want all this fuss.
With respect, sincerely hope it doesn’t turn into a Princess Diana type hysteria.
Thanks for sharing. This is so interesting to me. Would love to hear more from you guys living there. This is like the Super Bowl for my wife - she just can’t get enough of the coverage.
