I was just wanted to inform everybody that a friend to our community passed away at the age of 54. He won pinball expo in 1988 and the prize was a Taxi pinball machine. Previous to this, i had met him when I worked at a Gameroom "Foos Necleus" in Bensenville Illinois and he was also a great Robotron player as well as Defender. He was a blast to hang out with and our lives went in different directions in the early 2000s. One of his favorite pins of all time was 8 Ball deluxe and i played a few games in his honor.

Thanks for the tribute, Dave. Never met him but I wish I would've. It's awesome that he won the Expo tourney. Might be cool to have a commemorative shirt listing all the winners on the back or something.

Let's all raise a glass in his memory! Sounds like his Taxi left this Earth kind of early.

I never met him either, but he liked pinball. So he couldn't have been that bad a guy.
