Canadian punk rock legend. Edmonton-born SNFU frontman Ken Chinn (aka Mr. Chi Pig) has died at age 57.

If you play pinball in Vancouver and lurk 340 you’ve def seen this mystical man around.

Aw damn SNFU was pretty rad. RIP I didn’t know the frontman was into pinball, how cool! Sad he passed so young

Had the pleasure of catching SNFU in Buffalo a few times in the carefree skateboarding days of my youth. Chi Pig was by far the most energetic, highest jumping frontman I’ve ever seen! One of Canada’s finest exports for sure.

    Rest in power

Only saw snfu once I believe but it was great.

Didn’t know him but saw him hanging out at 340 all the time

Damnit ! I’ve been listening to SNFU quite a bit lately . I saw them a few times at the fireside bowl in Chicago many years ago . Mr. Chi Pig was great at those shows , climbing up speakers , putting on masks , really put on a great show and of course the music was always awesome . 57 is too young . I will put on some SNFU tonight while I work on some pinball .

That is too bad. Last saw SNFU in San Diego at a watering hole in mid 90’s. And No One Else Wanted to Play and If You Swear, You’ll Catch no Fish were great albums back in the day.

    Damn.....

Loved SNFU back in the day, still do. I would crank it all the way to the break, surf, crank to the next break, repeat.
