Great actor, loved every role I saw him play! 90 is a good long life, but sure sucks losing all your childhood heroes one by one!
A very talented actor. Been rewatching the James Bond series since the lockdown. RIP Sir Sean Connery
The Bond 50 (year) Blue Ray collection is one of the best produced, and includes 22 James Bond feature films from Dr. No to Quantum of Solace. Looks like I will be starting over (again) at Dr. No this weekend. RIP Mr. Bond.
Rank the bonds!
1. Gold finger
This one just has it all. Pretty much every bond movie since was basically an imitation of this one.
The best bond movie.
2. From Russia with love
Kinda long and slow but just sucks you in. Great characters, actors, and script.
The second best bond movie?
3. You only live twice
Great movie, best blowfeld, and totally over the top
4. Thunderball
Kinda bloated and boring in spots
5. Doctor No
Not too shabby but a little dull and low budget
6. Diamonds are forever
Without a doubt the weirdest bond movie. Has it’s moments but clearly enough was enough here
7. Never say never:
El Turdo!!
For me, Sean Connery and Roger Moore were the only true James Bonds. RIP for both of them... won't be forgotten!
Quoted from Tuukka:For me, Sean Connery and Roger Moore were the only true James Bonds. RIP for both of them... won't be forgotten!
Totally Agree, Sean and Roger both great in their own special way. I’m so sad both are gone... grew up with them both.
Quoted from OLDPINGUY:No! Not Zardoz! Go watch this, if you havent!
Gosh, Ive always been a fan of his, and met him as a child having Lunch in NY.
He was Larger than Life to me!
RIP.....Another Hero Gone.[quoted image]
Anybody that can be James Bond, Dr. Jones, and Rock the Zardoz suit is a real man in my book
One of his most memorable lines:
"You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That's the Chicago way!"
A real mans man
Did anyone have a bad word to say about this Champion? N O P E
Thanks for the memories Sean, God speed
I just recently checked to see if he was still with us.
Sad to hear that another legend has departed. R.I.P. Sir Connery.
I named my son after him in 1973. And I also gave him the middle name Timothy. The first name of a future Bond actor. RIP Mr. Connery.
