absolutely!! Save yourself headache and possible heartache if you mess something up. Playfield swaps done correctly are not for the faint of heart. Tons of work involved and most every hole on top of the playfield needs to be re-drilled with correct bits to avoid small cracks in the clear. Can anyone do one, sure??? Can they do it correctly?? This would be my concern.
Everyone beginner should at least attempt one playfield swap however, so they can fully appreciate the guys that do it and what they charge for it....and what all it entails..... Folks don't get rich doing playfield swaps for others and might make just a little more than minimum wages after all is said and one with the 40-60 hours or more put into the job.
