Hey all,

For a few months now my Mary Shelley's Frankenstein shows weird behaviour. It has two normal flippers and one right upper flipper. It seems that the upper one stays up at random moments while playing, but when a ball drains, it goes down again and I can use it again.

I checked the contact points of the metal strips, attached to the right flipper button, but all looks okay and not to close together or bent in any way.
I also felt the right upper flipper when it was standing up and tried to move it very gently, but it feels very strong.

So what can this be? A simple broken mechanical part or can it be software?

Thanks a lot for all the help!

Thanks for your options, guys! I switched power off when it happened again and the flipper went down, so it must be electronic, right?

Now can I assume this is an opto board problem, or could there be more? And if it's an opto board problem, how do I know which one to replace?
Oh and where can I find these board in my machine? I've looked all over, but can't find it!

Cheers!
Steven
