So I'm working on my Hot Tip em that I just picked up it had one fried flipper coil that I replaced and the other one was weak even after a rebuild and it was driving me crazy until I realized that it was the wrong flipper coil for the game a 21-375 vs 20-300.... it was staring me in the face the entire time.
I've done something similar. What I did was looked under the playfield very quickly and wrote down the coil number but I accidentally looked at the slingshot coil not the flipper. I noticed it immediately when I opened the package from Marco but still felt like an idiot.
