Assuming a fuse? Will hit radio shack anyone know if I need a 3 or 5 amp slow blow?
If not a fuse I will check wires and connections. Anything else I should look for ?
Thanks

Fuse should be near it. Pull it and read what is on the fuse, if there isn't a card nearby.

Pull fuse and check with a meter if you can, or swap left and right fuses.

Check for broken wires if not a fuse.

Did you hold the flipper up for a period of time, before it blew?

Not noticeably but could have.

Did you check the fuse?
A few weeks ago, i held the ball on the right flipper on my LOTR LE, whilst taking a phone call.
The fuse blew and it turned out, that it fried the Q16 transistor on the driver board.

If you replace the fuse and the flipper energizes as soon as you turn the game on, it's probably the transistor.

Hmmm, no fuses near flipper and the ones in the back box are not broken or fried. I can't find where the list of what fuse is what in the manual so I will email Patrick.
Christ I took IM totally apart to swap Mongers but I can't find a fuse!

What a dummy! Checked wires at flipper button but not at flipper coil. Went back to check and noticed the radio mode worked and it changed stations. It was the solder on the actual flipper coil.
Another day another learning experience...
