For starters...it's a diamond plate. That's a plus. They didn't make many of them.

Look for cabinet fade in the word GAMBLER.

Check the red ramp for breakage. Those ramps are VERY hard to come by.

Translites are hard to find as well.

I love my Riverboat. It won't be going anywhere. It really is an under-rated game, IMO.

While you're at it, I'd try to snag his Fire as well. Looks like the LE version.

Quoted from nsmith:

Here are some modes we made to Riverboat Gambler

Here is a mod I made for my RG

Each card on the topper lights up when the same card lights on the playfield.

Nice looking RG

I really like mine. It's an under-rated game.

I really like the artwork...playfileld, backglass, and cabinet all look great.

And the best part...it's really fun to play.

I put Red frosted LEDs under the rig red ramp.

It really brings out the color in the ramp.

I've never has to lube a lift ramp or drop targets on any of my pins.

They've been working fine for years.

What setting should blackjack be set to light bust card after 2 7s?

Yes

Send those decals back...

I've bought 2 of those insert decal sets from them. The 1st time, they were clear....I went ahead and installed them, (didn't know better).

The second time, they came in w/ the proper artwork.

My Riverboat didn't have the diamond plate, but I did the same thing you're doing. I removed all of the insert artwork, polished the inserts, installed decals, then installed a full PF mylar. The PF came out looking like a new PF.

Contact Classic arcade, tell them you want the proper insert decal set...they have them.

Quoted from jmountjoy111:

The riverboat gambler is back together. No thanks to classic arcades of course. They never sent me the proper decals or even hadthe decency to respond to my emails. I guess when everyone bashes a company online for crappy service you should probably listen. Oh well. I painted the inserts and applied the decals. Not perfect but it came out ok

That's a shame they didn't do the right thing by providing the proper decals.

They'll never get my money again.

Quoted from Rufus1:

Finished my Riverboat Gambler topper. I connected 3smd matrix led strips from Cometpinball to the Royal Flush card lights under the playfield so they light up in conjunction. The topper is from a Maverick pinball machine but was the best thing that had the cards in the same order. Thanks to /u/indypinhead for the original idea.

I made this topper for my Riverboat back in 2014. Each of the cards on the the topper are tied into the playing cards on the playfield.
