    Quoted from TFraelich:

    Mr. Bell,

As most people that have ever watched a movie on Blu-Ray or DVD know who have seen the warning at the beginning of the movie, the unauthorized sale of goods which violate the trademarks and copyrights of others can subject not only the seller to legal jeopardy, but anyone trading in such goods as well. Thus, you are willfully placing your customers in legal jeopardy by selling them unlicensed products.
    Tim Fraelich

Threatening Pinsiders that may buy something from someone that may or may not be infringing on your client is a douche move.

    Quoted from Whysnow:

actually it is the only right position to take. Seems obvious at this point that some people are sick of Rick sending C&D letters without proving what he claims to own. I see nothing wrong with saying "come after me and prove what you own" "then we can talk"

I am guessing the fact that the OP is in England may make it even less likely PPS follow through with anything beyond threats/C&Ds.

    Quoted from o-din:

It didn't stop them from going after pinball rescue in Australia.
    Quality apron decals- RIP.

Did they actually go to court? Where was the venue if they did?

    Quoted from Gryphun:

I read every post on this thread but a question that I would like answered is who owns the rights to Data East stuff (e.g. Checkpoint, TMNT, etc.)?

Doesn't Stern own Data East game rights?

He has been a one-post wonder (or some other word that fails me).
