Update 05/29/2022:

Potential Wave 2: I am open to doing a Wave 2 of figures if there is interest. The price for Terry is now $110 plus shipping and Squanchy is $75 plus shipping. Please PM me if you have interest. I will tally requests over the next 2 months and determine if there is enough to warrant a build. I will have to procure the characters so it will happen later in the year (end of Summer or Fall).

This is Post for my Mod efforts for Rick and Morty Going Forward. The Scary Terry and Squanchy Magnet/Pop Bumper Caps (Original bath - $75 each + Shipping) . I am summarizing the current order list status, next steps, and future updates:

Hi. Thanks to everyone for the interest. Here is the next step. I am going begin making the Terry and Squanchy Mods to meet the requests. I am waiting on some material in a day or so. I will be building in small batches and then shipping. I just want to set expectations that I will be doing this on weekends and completion of the full order will take a few weeks. My plan is for all builds done before Xmas. Again, I only have a small amount of time on weekends. I do not want to be paid until I have built your Mod (s) and am ready to ship. I will need you email and shipping address. I will email/PM you the Terry/Squanchy Build cost + Shipping cost.

Regarding future Terry builds. I have purchased a few more Terrys and am approaching those in wait list. Again, these are now going at inflated prices so I have to bump the total cost up based on the higher Terry price. I will keep looking online and reaching out to fulfill the list. I will use this Forum post to provide updates on the Mod Status. A reminder - Squanchy comes with beer label of your choice. PM me on your beer if you have not done so.

I cannot say thanks enough. I want to finish these out to begin on the next mods for Rick and Morty that I have prototyped.

Update 11/22

Hi. I had to order some materials plus I had work stuff that delayed me starting on the mods. I will be entertaining family for the holiday, so I will not start making the Terry and Squanchy Mods until the 1st week of December.

Good news is I bought some more Terrys and will ping folks on the list!

Hello. I wanted to update folks on these mods. So the good news is that I decided to pursue filling the entire Scary Terry request listed above. That is the original 12 (Wave 1) Scary Terry Portals and another 13 (Wave 2) on top of that for a total of 25. I would rather make everyone happy and fill the list now. But here is the rub. Unlike the original 12 (Wave 1) from early 2020, the Scary Terry figure prices are all over the map on the internet. They have ranged from $46 to $92 (See photos below). I have bought the extra 13 to make the 25 but I have to adjust the pricing for Wave 2. I have decided to use the average cost for the extra 13 Terrys and that ends up at $70. Based on that pricing plus other parts the price for Wave 2 Scary Terry Portal Mod would be $110 plus the shipping cost. The average approach is so no one gets a higher cost due to their position in line and available Terry stock price. It seemed to me to be the most fair approach. I will reach out to everyone on the #13-25 list above to confirm that you would be ok with this pricing. If there is interest then I will consider a WAVE 3 but that will be a different Terry batch and avg. pricing could change again.

So, since I made the decision to gather all Terry parts, the builds (Terry Magnet Portals and Squanchy Bumper Caps) will not occur until last two weeks of December. I'm on holiday and focusing on Mods!!! But nothing will likely ship until early 1st week of January 2022.

PS - I will address shipping costs after everything is made. Some folks are in same state, in US, Canada, EU, etc.

Quick update…. Our christmas gift to me and the wife was two puppies…. And they are a handful. So the builds are starting tomorrow through weekend. See bins for the key parts that have been opened and sorted. Man opening those plastic shells slices up your hands!!!

Just dissected all Terrys and Squanchies with Dremel tool. Making progress! More tomorrow.

Update - Oh the humanity !!!! Lots of dissections occurred yesterday. Have to sand and fill inner body cavity with resin so that the screws can dig in. Again, progress but this will be delayed a few weeks. Goal is shipping by end of January!

Hi. Quick Update. I wanted to be further along but a medical issue arose. Health is #1 priority. I have all the Terrys and Squanchies prepped for resin fills. I will be doing that over next 2weeks . Please have patience as I attend to family health issue.

Progress …. Feeling much better today but still “off”. I managed some time for Resin fill. I know it looks like a mess but they clean up fine. Plastic only bonds to inside and peels off on outside! Next step is clean up, sanding resin, some more portal builds (n=12) and then construction of final build will occur.

Again, I only have a few hours per weekend so Feb shipping is more likely. I want these out to you guys ASAP and will keeps updates coming!

Update ( 01/24/22) Will be sanding and cleaning up figures this week. Should begin screwing and glueing process the first week of February!

Update : I was doing tedious clean up this afternoon. I forgot how tedious it is. Progress made. Terrys cleaned. Finishing up Squanchys.

I also have to make more portals. Still looking great for Feb shipping.

Great. Was in basement making more portal molds as I need 36+ now. I had someone else drop out due to selling game and will retake inventory tonight. I will be painting extra portals during the Superbowl tonight. Cleaning up Squanchies as well. Some more painting tomorrow and hoping to begin assembling next weekend.

So on track to begin some shipments 1st week of March!

More painting portals tonight. I will be confirming with Squanchy orderers their beverage choice! I will text you on that this week! I have some extra Squanchy and Terry characters but will not divulge # until builds are complete in case I need them due to scrap.

Hi guys. Its March. These will start going out this month -100%. But I had a personal issue - wife medical procedure- and my wife and health are #1 priority. Everyone is well but I am not getting them out this week. That said, I now have this weekend to focus more on this!

Gotta finish some portal work decals
Dissect a few more Terry and Squanchy due to loss from damage

Then I will begin drilling, screwing and glueing
I will also be reaching out on Squanchy beverage choice
I might do Terry orders first and then Squanchy due to 2x+ more orders.

Hi. Quick update. I am looking to seal portals Tues - Thurs depending on weather. I dissected and resin filled extra Terrys snd Squanchys.

So I am looking good to begin assembling this weekend!!! My message in the beer labels will be sent during the week. I need to test the Squanchy portal to the Pop bumper, so Terrys will be first and then Squanchys.

Testing sealant selection. First brand did not look proper after drying.

Last of the portal decals for the painted portal plastics. Next step is applying these and then sealing all 35+ portals this week. The I will drill holes for attachment/magnet glueing/ funko attachment. Keeping it moving fwd!!!

Thanks! Portals dried and buffed. Drilling holes for Magnet and Terry positioning/attachment and for Squanchy attchments. I am updating excel sheet with everyone's build requests and will be confirming/finalizing details, ie beer. Stay tuned on messages for that. The Terry balls and Squanchy beer will be the last steps in the build process. Feeling like it is downhill now

Hi guys. Well its winter …. I mean Spring in the Northeast! A winter chill that froze things a bit …. Literally. I need to seal back of portals and temp drop prevented that. Wont be able to spray until weekend. I am drilling holes into the Funko bodies for attachment to the portal screws post sealing. So …. April for shipping it will be! Its very close now but I cant possibly make March 31st. I tried. We are looking in great shape though and I will be asking folks for shipping info soon. Stay tuned!

Sorry had to step away a bit. Major work deliverable sucking up my time. That said its cold and wet here on the east-coast. I will try sealing this Sunday or Monday afternoon. Then I can start the attachment / glueing process!

Holes drilled in all funkos. Gave them a bath. Some minor cleanup and hats reattachments. Spraying portals Mon/Tues again. I have to drill pop bumper holes for Squanchies. Then I will glue the bodies to the portals. After that its the balls, rope and beers!!!!
