Quoted from DanQverymuch:They don't have Google in your neck of the web?
"A servomotor is a rotary actuator or linear actuator that allows for precise control of angular or linear position, velocity and acceleration. It consists of a suitable motor coupled to a sensor for position feedback"
Like the man said, what’s a servo?
Quoted from DanQverymuch:Dumbed down, it's a motor that a computer can control precisely, not just turn on and off.
Edit: dumbed down is just a phrase, not to be taken personally.
Appreciate it!
Some questions. Are they unusual in pinball? Is ACNC unique in using them (saw someone complain about this)? What do other manufacturers use in their machines, as opposed to the servos in ACNC?
