Jerry Ramp Installed!
This mod is awesome. I love that it’s not permanent so it can be put back to stock... but why would you want to??

Its still a challenging shot off the right flipper to hit this ramp... if you hit the pop, look out! Really dig that I’ve got another shot on the right side (other than the upper flipper) to hit the garage. I feel like I get to play through more of the portals and game now with this extra shot.

Install was a breeze - great instructions, took me about 30ish mins since I fit the Beth and Summer stand ups incorrectly in the plug at first. Whoops. All in all a fantastic mod and game changer. Definitely a welcome upgrade, and renewed my love for this game. Thanks Interactive_Mods !

If you did do it in 30 min you are amazing! It took me an hour or so great mod.

I rushed through it on my lunch break with plenty of time to spare, which is why I said it took me 30ish. I read through all the directions beforehand, and I've removed the plastics, ramps and house so many times on this game its just automatic. The only time consuming bits were the flashers and the stand ups since I put them in the plug backwards at first, everything else seemed easy to follow, post here, screw here, etc. Agreed! Great mod, well worth however long it takes people to install it.

P1nhead That looks like someone stomped on the box! Very unaceptable indeed. I will reach out to the mail carier with the photos you've posted. In the meantime I'll send you a replacement Jerry Ramp. Sorry for this inconvinience.

Question - the post to the left of the entrance does not appear to have a rubber ring like the one on the right side. Is that correct and if yes then wont that cause cracking with direct hits?

#59 7 months ago

PinBalt the left post has a clear post rubber sleeve.

We finally got this installed Monday and have been really enjoying this. So much work went into this mod and I'm truly impressed how much of the left half of our game is now modified. Not the fastest mod I've ever installed but I find myself hitting the garage easier from the upper ramp as well as the absolute joy I get when I manage to get the Jerry ramp.

I couldn't resist the impatience! I must say that this mod is particularly well designed, the assembly is done really well in 45 minutes,
I haven't played much with it yet but the few tests I have been able to do seem very conclusive.
It's not an easy shot to make, but far from being impossible, it brings a real improvement to this game.

excellent work!

Installed the mod this weekend along with art blades, gitd rubbers and upgraded shooter lane ramp. Its really fun and makes the normal portal shot smoother too!

Just finished installing. This is a really good mod. I can’t think of anything that literally adds an entirely new shot to a playfield like this does. And it is 100% unobtrusive. Nothing new to shoot around or deal with.

Installation wasn’t bad at all. Keep the hardware you pull off together based on where they are pulled off, and it helps to find the piece needed when you get to installing the new ramp. The only thing I had to go back and redo was the alligator clips on the Jerry target. Note that this takes the Jerry standup off the playfield entirely - the ramp switch now “hits” Jerry. The standup mounts to the underneath of the bracket included for re-mounting the Beth and Summer targets. Pay attention when the directions say clip the alligators to the WIRED tabs on the Jerry target. One of the tabs without wires is in front in the new mounting spot underneath, and I just clipped one of them there and couldn’t understand why the switch wasn’t registering the shot.

As others have pointed out above, the Portal shot from the right upper flipper is also smoother now overall. The new ramp and guide assemblies take the place of the metal guide entirely, all the way up to the garage.

Now if only I could make my inner orbit smoother!

Thank you to everyone for your interest in the Jerry Ramp. I've shipped 3 batches of ramps out, I need a bit of a break to work on my next mod idea which is for Rush pro. I should be posting that next week.

If you'd like to get on a list for batch 4 of the Jerry Ramp please message me here or at [email protected]

Even though I'm taking a break from fullfilling orders I'm still more than happy to answer any questions regarding install etc. for the Jerry Ramp.

Fun mod. I finally got to play a few games with it installed last night. Not an easy shot, but it is cool having something else to shoot for on that side. I like how sometimes the pop will throw it up there.

Is there any concern that over time the plastic vuk kickout arch will break (given that the original was metal)?

#75 6 months ago

Anyone have issues with Green Flasher wire length? I can't get this ramp in position.

Nevermind. It barely makes the distance after clipping the clear zip from underplayfield staple.

Thank you, InteractiveMods! I love the new ramp and garage ball guide. I hit the garage shot 3 times in one game, once through Jerry Ramp (lower right flipper) and twice through ball guide (upper right flipper).

I designed the angle of the vuk kickout to tansfer most of the energy in the ball to the back wall before it hits the top arch so I would't be concerened with this.

Hi All,

Thanks again for your support with the Jerry Ramp. Batch four is sold out and I am taking orders for the next run. Please PM me here or at [email protected].

I have been working on some new mods lately and I am very excited to announce that I will be releasing one for Led Zeppelin Monday and one for Rush at a later date.

I got my Jerry ramp installed last weekend and it plays great. Very cool and functional mod. I would set aside 2 or 3 hours for installation. I find the upper flipper to portal shot to be easier with the mod too.

#86 6 months ago

Hey can someone send me the install instructions. Trying to get it install before my league tonight.

Link sent. (Sorry I forgot to put a subject on the message!)

Installed mine. Love it! A much improved garage shot on top of having a totally appropriate, wimpy ramp for Jerry!

Actually, I had already modded the garage shot metal ball guide placement for a more graceful curve, and I see from the slight ball trail that the new piece pretty much duplicates the curve I had the ball guide tweaked to, but even so, the fact that the metal ball guide inherently had a small amount of energy-robbing "give" to it means that the new piece works even better. I also expect the odd garage reject from the top right will be ameliorated by the shape of the other new piece, with it having that overhang.

An amazing piece of modding! I don't know of another mod that has so many implications to the game and is not just eye candy. Absolutely worth the price, and I'm usually a tightwad!

Completely agree. This mod took some time. I would have paid more but don't tell the seller that.

Great work! I liked that dead end shot the least when I had my pro, that will improve flow.

There was a pretty extensive packet of instructions with pics sent with the mod. Not sure if they are online, but I definitely used paper instructions to install.

Oh no. Thanks for thr reply. The only thing I received in the box was the hardware wrapped in newspaper. I've had the machine down all morning and I can't make heads or tails without instructions.

I just received my Jerry ramp today. Everything looks extremely well made. I'm impressed. Today is the first day that I have actually looked at the instructions. I was surprised to find out that by installing this mod I would be removing the metal ball guide and then the ball would now be rolling against the wood rail on the portal shot. This is unnerving to me. I'm surprised nobody here has even mentioned this at all. Have any of you seen any damage or wear to the wood rail after installing this mod? I'm not trying to be negative at all. I think this mod is super cool. And like I said, it seems very well made. I can tell this was a lot of work to design and create. I mean no disrespect. I'm just concerned about the metal ball against the wood siderail after 1000 shots.
