Honestly, this reads like it is very stressful for you. I would just bail while you can.... We are talking about an expensive toy. These aren't kidneys or water bottles after a hurricane.
I am not sure what there is to figure out- You place an order, the company sends you an ETA for your order.... seems pretty upfront to me.
