Quoted from Whridlsoncestood:

The big issues with cooper are p rock board memory leak stuff. If they iron it out for cooper it’s ironed out for Rick and Morty. And they almost have that issues fixed. It’s not catastrophic either. So all is good. Keep the line moving.

This is not a fault of the P-ROM boards, OR the CPU that they're running.
It's ALL software.

Quoted from PW79:

Spooky cant mass produce thousands of games

Good thing they're not 'making thousands', eh?

#995 4 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

have decided to go straight to the source as Charlie, as busy as he must be, seems to have no problem replying to e-mails pronto. Like I said before, he's too cool for school.

Same here. I got ACNC through a distributor, and... there was NO added value to it at all. (Granted, nothing extra was charged, either. But since I'm going to pay the same amount? I'd personally rahter make sure Spooky got all the money.)

#1079 4 years ago
Quoted from floyd1977:

Yeah, I got that part. I just don't know what Blood Sucker's Edition means. Is this a Spooky thing they do for all their games that includes some bling or what?

It's new for the Fang Club. So, at this time, I don't think anyone but those at Spooky know.

#1101 4 years ago

I believe that the "Blood Sucker" edition IS the "LE". But, I may be wrong.

#1282 4 years ago
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:

Why doesn’t Spooky contract build half the batch through American Pinball?

I've been to Spooky's location. I liely would NOT want te game if American Pinball made the game. Spooky is a known entity. For me, American Pinball is not.

#1318 4 years ago
Quoted from razorsedge:

Would people in the US still be fine with it, the affordability for a "chance", if it was US$95 ... like it is for us overseas?

I would. I like Spooky as a company. I was impressed when I saw their location and was given a tour. Have been impressed by the service and openess of all the employees there.

I didn't buy the Fang membership just to get a lead in the next game. (In fact, considering their previous releases, I was expecting it not to be a theme I really liked, so I the 'advance preorder' wasn't even a benefit for me.)

Quoted from Palmer:

I joined Dec 5th 7PM and my number is AB-1369

While I'm not really caring about one or the other, I do find it interesting about the number logging.
I ordered Dec 4th, and am 1071.

However, since this is an ORDER NUMBER, it means that orders placed for other items (shirts, posters, etc) would all increase this number.

Quoted from SpookyCharlie:

Get back to work!!! No leaks today on my watch.

Let me take you out to lunch..

psst, Now, Luke!

Quoted from SpookyLuke:

BOOM[quoted image]

Huh, cool. interesting. I don't see any magnets.

#1969 4 years ago
Quoted from monkfe:

I think I see a magnet..upper right in pic? Next to the slingshot no?

I saw that, but it looks like there's something else on it..

Oooh... look closer..

It's a magnet lock nut (so yes, may be a magnet), but it has an LED attached to it. ... Oooh... Lightup magnet cores. Holy shit, i want them on my TZ, now.

#1999 4 years ago
Quoted from docquest:

Trying to figure out a couple of the other parts in that pic that dont look as familiar like the thing next to the service rail on the right.

Quoted from Coyote:

Quoted from mskoenen:

Warning: Uninformed conjecture, speculation, and generally being an idiot incoming. I annotated the playfield picture with some ideas. Feel free to add to it.[quoted image]

The "What are these things" are RGB LEDs, and look to be of the GI variant based on the plug/screw layout.

#2019 4 years ago
Quoted from Fytr:

offset flippers on the bottom

They're not offset. One mech is just rotated. The bushings are the same distance up form the edge of the PF.

#2035 4 years ago
Quoted from Fytr:

Ah, I see now. Okay, I retract my admiration for Scott's balls then - what a pussy!

Hah!

#2054 4 years ago
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:

I got this one.... NO!

I'm happy my comment about the light-up magnet core didn't get a "no". Whohoo.

#2117 4 years ago

Question, as I seen folks assume one way or the other -

Are preorders opening the day of the reveal, or is the reveal first, and the preorders opening next year some time?

#2502 4 years ago
Quoted from guitarded:

I don't think there is any way they would unveil without a Blast from/on/at their email list.

Reveal, not pre-order.

I can see them revealing it without notifying ahead of time..

#2553 4 years ago
Quoted from Coyote:

I'm happy my comment about the light-up magnet core didn't get a "no". Whohoo.

Fuckin' called it. Awesome.

Looks really good. The brief animations on the LCD showed look top notch, I like the open playfield. Well done!

#2967 4 years ago
Quoted from titanpenguin:

You are correct all games play the same regardless of trim level.

It's one of the things Charlie said that they stand for - gameplay identical between the editions...

#3029 4 years ago
Quoted from CKrueger:

Would anybody be mad if I tested the site's code by trying to order 749 R&M's?

If you have that much money layin' around.. .GO FOR IT.

#3312 4 years ago
Quoted from Titan_Pinball:

The licensor sets the number of games to be produced when it is contracted. Not the manufacturer...

Sorry, Charlie specifically mentioned that THEY set the limit, knowing what they could produce in a reasonable amount of time.

#3364 4 years ago

I AM surprised at all the BSE's ordered. I didn't think there would be that many.

#3490 4 years ago
Quoted from nogoodnames222:

I wasn't a fan of the purple powdercoat and was not expecting so many people to go for the BSE. Now I'm concerned I may not get a game at all, if they just keep selling BSE's and those sales push standards off the list...

No, they don't. They just push yours back on when it gets produced.

#3503 4 years ago
Quoted from CoolCatPinball:

Apologies if this has been asked already, but does anyone know if this machine will be "R" rated with its callouts like the show? Or more family friendly? Or maybe selectable in the settings??

Been mentioned it will have adult language, but will have a setting to enable/disable it.

#3547 4 years ago
Quoted from Rarehero:

Actually it looks like they understand the theme & classic pinball art. There are “lines” to each shot with the electricity trails....similar to classic games. And the stuff floating around is accurate to the R&M opening sequence.
Also, I thought TNA’s art looked simple at first, but when you’re playing you realize it’s a benefit - the true art while playing is the light show...and that plays better off simpler art.

So much this.

#3591 4 years ago
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:

Also in the works! Cleaning up a bunch of stuff now that we have code help.

Quoted from donkadelic:

Now go celebrate you noodnick!

Seriously, everyone there grab a shot of whiskey!

#3786 4 years ago
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:

Absolutely dumbfounded.... biggest day in Spooky history. Lots of emotional people here right now.
Thank you all. Every single one of you who have always supported us, and jumped all over this one.
Much to do now. Going to catch our breath for a minute and get back to making you all happy.
HUGE THANKS TO EVERYONE AT ADULT SWIM, JUSTIN ROILAND, CARTOON NETWORK, AND JOSH FREYDKIS!!!

Congrats guys, from a diehard fan.

So who wants to come over and beta test?
Oh hey, i can finally post this picture.[quoted image]

Please handle it better than Fawzma.

I do NOT THINK you are supposed to use the burnishing tool on a low-power, low-current switch. Those switches are gold/copper plated, for low current signals. That burnisher is meant for high-voltage, older switches like used in EMs and early Solid State machines.

Thanks pinballinreno - That is what I thought I remembered from decades ago.
