Quoted from SpookyLuke:

That will have to come atleast a little later because the orders need to be layed into a spreadsheet after order to layer distro vs direct and BS in front. Also you can estimate your own ship date roughly at 10 per week. These will be fairly close to built in numerical order minus a few over seas shipping things and maybe direct print cabinet groups.

I appreciate that you’re going to deliberately interleave direct and distro orders. I ordered a TNA direct within the first few days and was frustrated when people who ordered from distros months after me received their games months before me. However, at 50 direct and then 50 across all distro, there is now likely an incentive/ to order direct. Nothing is perfect...

Quoted from f3honda4me:

Taxes depends on the state and the distributor. States that require the taxes generally don’t do so unless that distributor sells X amount in a year to that state.

To be pedantic, taxes are due to buyer’s state in all cases. The difference is if the seller or the buyer is responsible for collection. If a seller sells more than x goods in a state, the seller is supposed to collect and pay. If the seller doesn’t meet that threshold, they don’t have to collect, but it does not remove the responsibility of the buyer to pay the tax.

Even before the latest tax code change, buyers were supposed to be paying sales or use tax. 99% never paid. That’s why the law was changed.

Only 15 tickets left for the rick and morty pinball raffle.
This is your last chance

I got an error because I forgot to select state. Did that, and then got an error saying I couldn’t contribute. Yep, someone bought 200 out from under me. Oh well.

Quoted from Concretehardt:

I am trying to believe me, as I type this post I am debating going to the emergency room as my face and head are badly swollen from the radiation treatment I got on my brain last Thursday to try and kill a brain tumor that I had brain surgery to remove last year, but the brain tumor has now grown back. I have lost feeling on the top of my head and am having crazy headaches since the radiation. I am very relieved as the DR told me that I may permanently lose feeling in my face after the treatment, but so far that has not happened.
I need to keep a brave face on for my daughter, but I cant help but worry about what my future holds.
Now I wait for my next MRI to see if I need more radiation treatments. All that said I have much to be thankful for as things could be worse for me.
I hope you get your game number soon!
Merry Christmas
PS. In the spirit of Rick and Morty I have attached a picture of myself last week after they screwed a halo into my skull and put a space helmet on me just before they wheeled me into the radiation chamber.[quoted image]

Well if that doesn’t remind people to keep things in proper perspective, nothing will.

Sending good thoughts to you for your health in 2020.

Quoted from Lounge:

There is one side of the box marked “truck from this side” - the other 3 sides say “DO NOT truck from this side” - so it doesn’t have to sit upright. I’ve hauled two NIBs in the back of my short bed pickup truck - box on its side.
[quoted image]

Do not truck refers to hand trucks, not pickup trucks. The box is designed to sit upright, as indicated by the ^^ this end up.

Butter or not to butter, that’s the question. Normally I don’t think it’s worth it, but I’m tempted to try it. I haven’t seen one in person and pictures just don’t do it.

Quoted from TherealDroopy:

In another dimension I'm already playing my machine in the garage! Very excited.[quoted image]

You beat me to it! I ordered one this morning, and I told them they get extra points for adding a pinball machine. I wonder if they’ll use the same art. Too funny.

I would vote for video modes, and a Jerry mode sounds hilarious.

Even short videos (non interactive) when you earn certain things would be cool. Having the game play pause for a few seconds is sometimes a welcome break. Reminds me of the intermissions on Mrs PacMan. I love animations we have on modern pinball, but it’s so hard to enjoy them when you’re playing.

Quoted from f3honda4me:

Anyone else having a delay on hearing about their order from C137 designs for custom image from R&M? When I ordered, it said 7-10 days, but I'm going on day 12.

Yes. I suspect we single handily quadrupled their monthly sales.

Quoted from guitarded:

That Kaneda Podcast with Scott has some nice little nuggets in it.
I think Scott undersells his effect on selling out the run. His second machine was going to garner a lot of attention regardless of Theme. Spooky just happened to hit a grand slam with Scott, Bowen and Eric teaming up on this theme.

Because he has humility, and understands that it’s a team effort. Without the licensed theme it would have garnished a lot of attention, but I don’t think it would have sold out in hours.
