Spooky are nothing but a bunch of filthy liars.

Where do I even start?!!

First of all, guy says his name is Chuck... but it’s actually CHARLIE. Liar!!

They say their daughter is a squirrel, and their son is a bug. MORE LIES. I’ve met them both, and they are respectively a young woman, and a young man.

They also claim that Stern STOLE Godzilla from them. Godzilla is a giant goddamn monster. He never belonged to Spooky in the first place. LIES.

Finally, this whole launch has been incredibly misleading. I was under the impression that I was ordering a Rick and a Morty pinball machine for $7000. That’s $3500 for each machine, which would have been a good value... but look what Liar Liar Pants on fire Spooky did?! They just made ONE machine and put BOTH guys in the same machine. Cheap. Misleading, and very underhanded.

Why don’t you change the name to SNEAKY Pinball?!

Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:

The lock can lock up to 4. 2 on each side. We are currently using it in really cool ways as a lock, a movable captive ball, and a fast-ass u-turn. I am extremely happy with how it turned out.

Here they go again, being dishonest and manipulating the numbers!

Why won’t Spooky just be straight up about how many balls Can be locked.

Scott is saying 4, and then He’s saying 2. 4 times two divided by the square root of my invoice number is an impossible number of balls to lock.

Somebody is lying here.

My distributor said I’d be able to lock all the balls, and now other people are saying they’re able to lock 3 balls.

I just wish people would be honest about the number of ball locks.

Quoted from ralphwiggum:

Calm down Ed.... you are forgetting to take into account the Canadian conversion rate. 4 American Balls is 2 Canadian Balls.... Spooky will have to include the game conversion features on all of it's exports. Making pinballs IS hard!

As an International Fang Club member, I paid more for my membership. I should be able to lock more balls. That would be fair... But NO, not with Sneaky Pinball.

I take comfort in knowing that Pinside will have adjusted its expectations accordingly!

When we finally see gameplay footage, people should understand that this is a new pinball machine we’re seeing... not a paradigm shifting wizard device.

It will not be magic.

It will not circumvent the rules of physics.

It will not be exactly what you imagined.

It will be a new Pinball Machine designed by the amazing Scott Danesi, and built by the fine people at Spooky Pinball. It will have assets from a beloved new animated franchise.

If you expect a fun new machine, you’re going to have your expectations met or exceeded.

If your expectations are ridiculous... prepare to be disappointed.

Quoted from TherealDroopy:

Ok, does anyone know what affects the diverter in the right orbit? Charlie shot it going for the garage and if I remember the first shot came back on the spinner lane/orbit. But the second one went to the garage.

I’m pretty sure it diverts attention away from the Stranger Things thread?

I kid.

I’m a kidder.

I got my first chance to play Stranger Things at A4 Arcade in Boston yesterday. WICKED spot if you’re ever in Beantown. I swear by the Fried Chicken Sandwich. It might be the best I’ve ever had anywhere?!

As for Stranger Things, I’m well aware of the physical issues reported about the game (Demo Shot, Ball Lock post)... gotta say. I had a absolute blast playing it. 3 of us pumped in quarters for about 8 straight games. I think it’s a lot of fun. It’s hardly the dumpster fire some make it out to be. As code shapes up, I think it’ll become a very good game.

Back to Rick and Morty. Based on the short gameplay clip, I’m absolutely flabbergasted by the theme integration and light show. This game is going to be BONKERS.

I LOVE the genuine excitement from everybody involved. So happy for everybody at Spooky. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch of people. Except for TheNoTrashCougar ... who is clearly just mailing it in, and biding his time until he can get a job in middle management at some sort of fleet services company. You can just tell his heart’s not in it.

Thanks for the review of the sandwich. Did you have the Fried Chicken pro or the LE ?
