What must JJP, AP and Deeproot be thinking?!

Themes that didn't hit their peak pre-1970 sell pretty well in small quantities.

#4002 4 years ago

Well Done Spooky pinball!!

#4003 4 years ago

Im surprised no one has brought up the art blades in the standard r&m video with charlie in it. Bet alot of you will go back n check now lol. But for real it is there

I think all of them can learn a lesson from Spooky on announce / launch / ordering cadence. But in order to pull this off, you need a theme that gets people excited. Also, Scott Danesi coming off TNA was a huge bonus. I wouldn't have been in without Scott being on board.

ya I ordered a friggin cup last night to save my credit info, but it never saved, I still had my card number copied and added 2 to my cart... took 3 mins to fix and got my BS in at 1873. Right after you! you bastard...

One in O-Town and one in SLC. Nice. Looks like you'll have yours at least a couple months before me though.

I seriously doubt Rick and Morty was on any of the other companies radar. And many in charge of those companies may have never even heard of it before now.

It's also very hard for people to change or accept new things once they are set in their ways. There is still a huge market for them and their themes anyway.

#4008 4 years ago

someones already selling a spot for 50k! most likely satire , but you never know

Could only copy the link to the search since when I click on the sale it redirects me to my ebay app.

Yeah, I wasn't really pointing out one or another, just the general way pinball as a whole has been for a while.

This game will sure freshen up that landscape.

Stranger Things should help Stern with that. It is a 'no brainer' theme, and actually relevant today. I am worried that they are going to botch ST - but I sure hope that they don't!!!

The movie pins that Stern have done were a good idea. TRON, Iron Man, DP, etc. are good themes for sure, but those may be running out of steam - same with band themes.

Also, Stern has got to address the build quality and QC of their pins, and better address customers in the future.

Don't give the trolls the attention they crave... ignore and bury these stupid attention grabs.

So I'm only seeing around 200 -300 direct orders.
The rest go to distributors?

Anyone have an updated list of the order numbers

What's the latest number so far?

Good for them! It's not anything I'm really interested in, and I'm glad it is Spooky doing this one.

Charlie seems very open minded when it comes to young talent like Scott and sort of giving him a lot of his own latitude with themes and whatnot.

Stranger T. Is feeling kind of played out...should have waited a few years between seasons

R&M feels timeless and will be an ATM machine on route for years to come...SP 2.0

They have stated it was even 50/50 so 375 straight from spooky and 375 from disturbutors

So... is Rick and Morty the biggest day 1 sell out in pinball history?

They look good, but they are so dark that's why nobody noticed them. I want bright, punchy, wild, zany, wacky, waving, flailing, inflatable-arm tube man graphics like on the outside of the cab.

If spooky wants to cancel the Dbags order, I will donate $100 to a charity of their choice.

TAFG sold 1000 in one day I believe...back in the day...and still highly sought after

#4032 4 years ago

Cool of my phone for no reason to post that $125 Soundgarden record I was making fun of.

Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

There may be other titles that sold that many units the first day, but going back in time to figure out which ones or how many is almost impossible due to the limited records available.

I'm sure T-2 did great as it was released to coincide with the movie's release. But again, it was not a limited production game.

If that's an OP Color Variant, that's not a bad price if it's VG++.

Agreed.they make sense and flow with the pf art but would like something bold like the cab

#4041 4 years ago

And he wonders why people hate him. And no, the excuse of "hey I'm just being funny", or "I just put this out there to see if anyone would make an offer" does not cover it either. Kudos to him for supposedly donating money to charity of whatever over the buy price of lebowski was, but he's well known for putting down deposits on games with distributors, not even having it shipped to him, and somehow shipping direct to the new buyer and pocketing the difference.

For less money as well - $3195 in 1994 = $5,545 in 2019. BSE at $7520 vs TAFG at $5545.

I get the space theme but the black of the art on the inside of the cabinet makes it look bare. I would have liked to have seen the neighborhood on the backboard or something with a bit more design flare.

Maybe if they stuck with black maybe make them power blades and the planets would pop

About Kaneda’s ad on ebay...Read the item description. It was actually really nice...

Now that the ordering is done, who’s the first to shift the thread to complaining about when we get our games?

Maybe my facial recognition is out of wack, but since when did Charlie and Bowen become the same person?
