Yes, Spooky has to charge CA sales tax now. I received my ACNC two weeks ago and they had to charge tax.

It depends on how many units they’ve shipped into the state during the tax year (at least that’s the case in MD). I think tax is applied after 5 or 7

It is what it is. Some states have no sales tax and crazy high property taxes. My property tax is super low relatively speaking. Nobody wants to pay any taxes, but somehow they gotta pay to keep things running. And keep all those fancy suits up in Sacramento living high on the hog.

Love you O-man, but you know the only reason your taxes are low is because you are old and have lived in the same place forever. Grandfathered rule. CA has super high property taxes in most situations.

Close, but I am not old. It was my old grandma that bought the house in 1966 and keeping it in the family that keeps taxes low. She wouldn't let grandpa move in. Something about a Christmas blowout at our house where she yelled at him snd he dropped a bottle of Jack Daniels in the driveway.

I just wanted to point that out. I knew when I paid sales tax on my Fang Club membership, that like death, NIB pinball tax was now inevitable.

Legislatively, in the majority of states, that is what the gas tax is supposed to be for.

I'm not targeting anyone here with this comment, but I find the people who complain the most about taxes pay relatively little.
I once had an extended family member complain to me that he and his wife had to pay "almost 10k in federal taxes" that year.

Metallica LE did where there was confusion with people getting valid orders revoked because dealers didn’t get the allocation they were promised?
TWD where the premium was not announced until later so people were fearful there might not be a premium. But it was super probable there would be a premium.
GB LE sold out very quick if I’m not mistaken.
MM remake LE sold out fast too but people were able to get refund and many did because of long delays. Now Spooky wisely has a non refundable deposits.
