I see a under playfield portal hole.
Seeing the ball inside the back portal makes me want to believe there will always be a ball there, and the 2nd ball will pop out from the front portal immediately as the first ball enters the back portal.
Quoted from ChrisPINk25:Only one pop bumper?!?
But you know it's gonna be a good one
Quoted from SpookyLuke:BOOM[quoted image]
ok, I think Spooky just became my favorite pin producer.
Luke just sexted pinside.
iuCHEZ10J4 (resized).jpgWow, looks like they really did go with a non Italian bottom. Still an inline and outlane on both sides, but looks like a sling on the right side, and a pop bumper on the left. It matches up with the one playfield image in the teaser video with the pop bumper on the left and the edge of the Morty Adventure card, as you can see the 2 lines of five inserts for the card on the playfield bottom in the same spot.
Quoted from Amarillopinball:Seeing the ball inside the back portal makes me want to believe there will always be a ball there, and the 2nd ball will pop out from the front portal immediately as the first ball enters the back portal.
...or it simply rolled back...but I like that idea
Quoted from donkadelic:But you know it's gonna be a good one
Pop bumper replacing a sling will be interesting. looks like 4 flippers and im interested to see what that cluster of mechs is at the bottom
Quoted from PunkPin:Pop bumper replacing a sling will be interesting. looks like 4 flippers and im interested to see what that cluster of mechs is at the bottom
A variation on this?
Will lead to some crazy fun
image-8 (resized).jpgQuoted from donkadelic:bottom left is some kind of teleporter thing?
I think they call them portals.

Huh, cool. interesting. I don't see any magnets.
So, a three-flipper game with an unusual bottom design, and something weird that pops up in the middle of the playfield? Playfield or bonus multipliers advancing to 4X and 10 different adventures?
Quoted from ufotofu:So, a three-flipper game with an unusual bottom design, and something weird that pops up in the middle of the playfield?
i think there is a fourth flipper in the very back of the playfield
Quoted from PunkPin:i think there is a fourth flipper in the very back of the playfield
Ahh... I see it now...think your right
Quoted from monkfe:I think I see a magnet..upper right in pic? Next to the slingshot no?
I saw that, but it looks like there's something else on it..
Oooh... look closer..
It's a magnet lock nut (so yes, may be a magnet), but it has an LED attached to it. ... Oooh... Lightup magnet cores. Holy shit, i want them on my TZ, now.
Quoted from rai:I honestly can’t make heads or tails of the underside of a PF.
download, flip it, and reverse it.
iuHFB44API (resized).jpgQuoted from PunkPin:i think there is a fourth flipper in the very back of the playfield
Could it be a diverter?
Quoted from PunkPin:i think there is a fourth flipper in the very back of the playfield
Prob for the upper pf
Quoted from lpeters82:No Danesi Lock...I'm out.
Isn't there?
Luke... I NEED TO SEE YOU IN MY OFFICE!!!

I assumed it was the power for the magnet... ah but it does look like a small board
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:Isn't there?
Luke... I NEED TO SEE YOU IN MY OFFICE!!!
double Danesi lock confirmed
I have it on good authority that this is actually the TOP SIDE of the table. That's the innovation.
Also, look at all those pretty RGB lights..... drool.
Quoted from Amarillopinball:Seeing the ball inside the back portal makes me want to believe there will always be a ball there, and the 2nd ball will pop out from the front portal immediately as the first ball enters the back portal.
And Luke gave a thumbs up to this so I am taking that as a hard confirmation
Quoted from Mitch:I just hope they dont have all the art removed under the posts like on Alice cooper. Doesn't look right..... but wont stop me from buying it.
Pretty sure I read something from Charlie saying that helps to prevent any pooling or other pf issues around posts if they move the artwork back. I believe it was a post in the ACNC thread. The looks doesn't bother me and if it helps reduce pf issues I'm all for it.
What are the mechs that have the wingnuts on the bottom? I haven't seen that before but I've not had the fortune to own a Spooky game yet. Is that some sort of adjustment? Seems like wingnuts would be easy for serviceability, but prone to loosening up?
Quoted from TheNoTrashCougar:I will leak stuff for Fiero parts.

I'll send you my copy!
Okay... so if I bought into the Rick and Morty hype and bought one... how does this work? Do you pay in full and get the game in 6 months? Do you pay a deposit and pay the rest when your game is ready? What's the deal?

I'm thinking that they are for drop target mechs, and the wingnut is to adjust the drop target height? I'm not sure about what the one is in the bottom center though? - Maybe a magnet where you adjust the height via wingnut?

Looks like drop targets. Wingnuts let you adjust height so top of drop target is flush with playfield.

More likely this....

Danesi channeling Roger Sharpe.
Not sure about it - at least it’s something different.
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Okay... so if I bought into the Rick and Morty hype and bought one... how does this work? Do you pay in full and get the game in 6 months? Do you pay a deposit and pay the rest when your game is ready? What's the deal?
You’d pay a deposit and the rest when the game is ready to ship. I think they anticipate 18 months to build all
750.

Thanks! Is that a Spooky-only design, or common on other new games? I've worked on dozens and dozens of games and rebuilt many drop targets but haven't encountered that design before. Then again, out of all the games I've worked on only a handful have been made this decade, oops.
Quoted from SpookyCharlie:Isn't there?
Luke... I NEED TO SEE YOU IN MY OFFICE!!!
I believe it is called Danesi’s Horseshoe?
Quoted from Spiderpin:Spooky already has about 100 game ready to ship.
No.

It's a Williams WPC design.

Yes. I didn't say R&M.
That image came right off of pinball life website. If you listen to the spooky podcast they often mention going to pinball life for large part runs so i think a lot of their parts come from there.
Trying to figure out a couple of the other parts in that pic that dont look as familiar like the thing next to the service rail on the right.

And the mech (not even sure if its 1 or 2 mechs) at the bottom center.

It it a variant of the WPC design and is backwards compatible with WPC games that use this mech. However, we did make some small changes, one of them being the wing nut.
The top pic looks like a button controlled magnet. I suspect the third button on the cab controls a magna save...it’s just above one of the lanes too. Just a guess though. Not sure what the other pic is.
