A paradigm shift in pinball Theme and possible game changer. While the Industry Leader caters to boomers someone
else takes a chance on a title that caters to a younger crowd.

I’m ready to get schwifty. Scott Danesi + amazing license + real voices + humor = I’m 1000% in. My pinball abstinence has been broken by this.
Quoted from TheLaw:Don;t tarnish R&M name with the Simpsons please.
lol
it is Groening ish type of style and settings.
The comedy is so much better but had obvious inspiration (what animated series doesn't honestly)
I would’ve never thought in 1 million years that Scott Danesi and Brian Eddy would be going head to head for pinball dollars.
Another killer year for pinball in 2020.
JPoP’s Retro Atomic Zombie game did not wow me. It’s going to be some fierce competition in the next year.
Spooky has got a hot title here, only other Cartoon Network/Adult Swim I would go after would be Metalocalypse.
Nice to see a refreshing cartoon title, much needed. Nice subtle slam on Stern in the YouTube vid about not another rock n roll or superhero pin
Quoted from TheGunnett:Joined the Fang Club to get a place in line
Good idea.. I just did the same
Interest in something called "Haunted House Party" = 2/100
Interest in "Rick and Morty" pinball = 100/100
Quoted from TheGunnett:Joined the Fang Club to get a place in line, I’m in! Got the perfect spot in the game room for it. My dream theme![quoted image][quoted image]
"MEMEBRSHIP"? "NON-CANCEL-ABLE"? No one proofreads Spooky confirmation email templates??
That aside, seems like limiting this to 750 is a bad idea on a theme that could potentially sell twice that. Maybe to 750 Collector's Editions with a cool topper and some other CE perks and unlimited Standard Editions?
Why limit Spooky's upside on likely their biggest pin to date? Could sell as much as their first 3 pins combined.

The limited supply helps create rarity and hype. Also, it’s my understanding that they only have the capacity to build around 750 in a year?

license length x workers to build them.. and as charlie always says "I'm not over staffing just so I have to lay workers off when there's a lull"
Quoted from PinMonk:Why limit Spooky's upside on likely their biggest pin to date? Could sell as much as their first 3 combined.
My guess is that Spooky has been very clear on their desire to stay right sized for them. They want to build games at the right rate for them to stay safe, keep good people in work, and build them in a time frame typically set by license constraints (i.e. 24 months)
To answer a question about voice, the video says "Custom Voice Over By Justin Roiland", and he does the voices of both Rick and Morty as well as many other characters in the R&M-verse. He also did the voice work in the teaser video.
Quoted from Coz:The limited supply helps create rarity and hype. Also, it’s my understanding that they only have the capacity to build around 750 in a year?
I understand the rationale, but it doesn't really work here since this one can sell a lot more than 750. Take a page from the Stern book and leave the SE manufacture option open so they can use it to fill in "lulls" on other themes that don't hit. Do another 100-200 once a year or something. But don't limit your options.
Besides, if the CE perks are cool enough, they'll still sell out, and still be rare. It just won't close the book on Spooky profiting from (what hopefully is) a great pin with a great license.
Quoted from Billy16:Looks promising, but I want to see the pin before I'd plunk down any cash.
Took a pic of a stupid hammer this past weekend at Spooky. Look past the hammer.

Seriously...Scott comes out and said he hates how people put there name in the title then in the next breath says the next game is "Scott Danesi's Haunted House Party?"...with a "?" in the slide show. I assumed everyone was in on the joke.
I'm totally in. Got my Fang Club signed up and cash ready!
I'm a little nervous that there's a Plumbus and my kids are going to ask me about it. But if part of the deal in having a R&M is having The Talk with the kids, it's worth it.

Two flipper buttons? On the right side I mean
Quoted from ausretrogamer:It's the middle of our work day (in Australia), and I can't keep my eyes off this thread!
Me too!
Quote of the night from Facebook:
"This must be what it feels like when Stern makes band pins for old people."
Not my quote but still
The cartoon is completely bizarre but pretty damn funny. Not sure how it will translate into a pinball machine but this is definitely interesting.

Wasn’t paying that close of attention. Missed that it was a joke, but I love it in retrospect.
Quoted from Hazoff:I thought it was going to be Killer Klowns From Outer Space, that had a chance. This has zero chance. Who the hell are Rick and Morty?
Man... if a KKFOS came out I’d sell anything in my lineup to get on that list
Quoted from Whysnow:And no plunger
Plunger should be the front end of a Plumbus!
Hmm - I guess to get in on one, have to join the Spooky club and then get in line the minute the email is sent. And hope you are in year 1 of the build.
Quoted from Hazoff:Who the hell are Rick and Morty?
You are not alone. But i am excited to see a new game.
