Good spot! Looks like translucent molded plastic, 3D printed example in the prototype must've just been a placeholder. Can't wait to for quality updated pics of the production machines.

Is it me or are there multiple leds under the portal charge insert? Looks like it has a charge meter like the magna save.

It is shown operating in the original release gameplay trailer, there are at least half dozen in the "meter".

I think the targets are probably blank, without anything on them, so not an extra set per se.

That's how ACNC was. The decals were an extra option so I imagine that's the same here. If you buy one set, they come pre-installed.
Spooky will definitely sell you multiple sets if you want a backup for if/when they wear out.

If anyone is worried about extra wear and you want to limit game play... Stern sells a pinball player deterrent mod;

I’m pretty sure you’re going to get your moneys worth on this pin... if you don’t think so just compare it to a “newer” Stern.
Scott mentioned in one of his interviews that the 3D printed crystals were a placeholder. Was looking forward to seeing the final product and looks great so far

Noticing in the past few pics that the third flipper has a black ring on it and other pics has yellow. Is it just a decision not made yet by spooky or is it yet another option that you get to choose your colors or something

It was probably one of the Proto types.
