Quoted from jonesjb:

Or an innovative Swiss army like toy that can be used in countless ways
Or a magnasave that can be used to finesse the ball
Or a teleporting portal that takes you to different dimensions.
Or an incredible light show

Yes!

man I can't wait!

Maybe I should sell one of my Stern pins and try to find a TNA to keep me busy until I get RM?

ANY TAKERS???

I sold BM66 and bought a TNA and never looked back...

#8204 4 years ago

I'd LOVE to get a TNA. They get scooped up pretty quickly when they pop up.

#8205 4 years ago
Quoted from SpookyKT:

I know of at least 21 that will be on location and those are just the ones I sold. I have no idea how many of my distributors have sold to locations.

Another here! ... TNA 439 is sited here and the players Love it!

I've kept quiet that I have a game coming, but still several have already asked if I'm getting one... I guess since TNA is there

Another Rick and Morty on site here for people to play!

I think there will be more of these going onsite than one might assume.

Quoted from o-din:

I'll fly right over and play yours then!

#8207 4 years ago

man, it sounds tempting.

I better just lay low for a while and be happy that the wife didn't shoot me (with my own shot gun) for putting a deposit on RM without telling her!

#8208 4 years ago
Quoted from rotordave:

As Jay said above, this was pretty common on the 80s Williams machines. Off the top of my head, Jungle Lord, Solar Fire, Pharaoh and Grand Lizard had this.
You can build the charge back up by hitting targets on the playfield.

It would be a shame for the generous public to not have access to as many as possible.

if you live near me, let me know if you get one!

Thanks to Ryan C (head-to-head pinball podcast) we will have one to play over here in Melbourne .

how do you like the quality of your spooky pin?

do you only own that 1 spooky pin?

#8213 4 years ago
Quoted from Pinball-Obsessed:

Best quality playfield in the business. The cabinet is solid as a rock. Customer service is second to none.

Only one I've owned, but my buddy has the rest of them are they are just as stout. He's got butter cabinet on his, and I'm going that route on this one.

#8214 4 years ago

Yup, similar to CGC builds. Not exact but close. Nice thick plastics too. Electronics seem nice too. NO issues with my ACNC except on small sculpt needs adjustment semi annually...

#8215 4 years ago
Quoted from Pinball-Obsessed:

don't get me wrong, as a fan of ST, I love the theme song but if I owned the pin I might end up hating that song soon after....

Every pin has finite music loops. Do you the hate music on your pins?

sweet! more reason's to be glad I'm getting RM pin. Thanks.

last time I went to the stern factory and got a quick tour, the tech that took me through the factory mentioned they were going to start using MDF instead of wood on their cabinets. not sure if this is true or not but that was when I got MY DP pin back in October of 2018.

yeah, you're right and I know.... maybe I'm just being a Jerry.

I found 2 TNA pins for sale on MR. Pinball classifieds

http://user.xmission.com/~daina/classified/data/machines_for_sale.html

#8219 4 years ago

My RM is going in my office so that ill have a shiny toy to look at while I grind away at work.

#8220 4 years ago

Another week down, still hoping for a gameplay video soon.

I own RZ and TNA, both great quality. The cabinet is solid as a rock and the way they roll the decal into the corner looks great and will never peel. I also second the best Playfields you can get.
The boards are solid tried and true multimorphic. Same I use in my homebrew and other boutique company’s.

#8222 4 years ago

I traded a Houdini for a RZ,and never looked back as well!!!!

Quick poll update (and notice for anyone who missed it / reminder for anyone who said "I'll do it later" and forgot):

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/buying-rick-amp-morty-if-so-which-category-are-you-take-the-poll

With 182 responses, that's just a shave under 25% of the 750 production run accounted for. 97 (53% of respondents) are first-time Spooky buyers, with nearly 20% being first NIB. Pretty impressive amounts IMO.

What's even more interesting to me is thus far, as overall reposnses have tallied, those percentages have stayed roughly consistent... that's a purely anecdotal observation but I wonder if it would hold true for the whole run?

So the other 75% or ~568 of you.... Don't be a Jerry: answer it if you haven't, just for fun!

No Thanks. Can we please stop trying to over analyze and data compile every single tiny thing in the hobby.

Thanks guys!
Appreciate the info.

I’m looking forward to owning a Spooky machine!

We will have a bloodsucker edition on location at Lyons Classic Pinball in Colorado. We also have TNA and Alice Cooper and love them to Death!

What would it take to get a factory installed (add-on cost) silicon band upgrade?

Feasible or too much trouble?

It’s seems like a easy upgrade that no company has done as of yet.

I'm pretty sure they use Pinball Life PerfectPlay silicone bands.

Spooky has used silicone rubbers on their games since TNA.

Would love to see some gameplay! Does anyone have one yet?

#8236 4 years ago

Scott,

Can we at least get a solid date on when we will see game footage?

Please?

#8237 4 years ago

I think we are all stalking this thread waiting (impatiently) to see something from spooky....

Quoted from dts:

Supposedly the first batch is being finished this week. I would expect for there to be some sort of reveal stream with the first games going out. I would also expect very early code.

To be honest, I don't care to much about how this will "play" or the "Rules/modes". Im sure its going to be fun and have cool modes going on, its pinball. Im just super excited about the call outs and cant wait to hear what Rick yells at Morty During play. My only concerned is with the music choices they go with. Spooky made IMO one of the best sounding pins with TNA. So im sure they will do Rick and Morty Justice.

Honestly, for me the "straw that broke the camels back" in terms of deciding to order this pin was hearing the video promo with Scott's interpretation of the R&M theme music, and finding out that he was creating a bunch of custom music for the game. I'm confident that the music wil be one of the pillars of the game.

#8241 4 years ago
Quoted from Fytr:

I hope not.

I'd really like to get all 4 legs with my game...

Sure the Music will be great. You KNOW it will be well integrated as Scott is doing it.

As you can see my only concern is very small

Man, Stern has done a great job lowering everyone’s expectations on pinball machines...

I gave you a thumbs up because that's what many people do with me after I've deleted a comment.
I'm not sure what motivates them but I suspect it's not anything nice.

Ha! Nah - someone has to be a real asshole for me to go all Keyboard Warrior on them.

I was responding to the comment about silicone rings as an option but Scott had already addressed it.
