Quoted from scruffypinball:

In theory- what would you pay for a vinyl of some of Scott’s music?

On stream last night he made it clear: he can’t fit a lot of music on a typical 45 because his music requires a lot of bass and thus “space” in the grooves.

Hypothetically, if a producer could make a batch of 250 vinyls with custom designed jacket and styled vinyl, what would you pay?

This is all hypothetical and just a fun exercise

Depending on the Artwork / Sleeve and the # of LPs...$30-60.

With 60 being for 2 x LP w/ Gatefold.

And cutting at 45 gives more room for bass, but less length of play, ftr.

Quoted from razorsedge:

Does the space ship have one? .... seems like something moves it from below, maybe the centre upkicker?

Given the location and shape of the "traffic cone" that the spring comes out of that's what I was thinking. A really long post would hit it.

#5554 4 years ago

...and if you are serious about getting Scott's Music onto LP, feel free to contact me. I have a few friends who own labels who can help do that.

You just sniped me, I’m #84
Can I have some money?

I as well ordered from Nitro I'm in between both of ya #83. I am just getting into pinball and am stoked to get my first NIB game with a theme i'm really into! March is gonna be a good month!

You can widen the grooves for bass just fine at 33, but you start to run into inner groove distortion on the inner tracks; that's what 45 eliminates.

For this application, I'd think 33 with wide grooves and limiting to 15-20min per side across 2x LP would be fine.

Rick & Morty: What A Plumbus Can Actually Do
.
BY COOPER HOOD
SEP 28, 2019

The Plumbus is one of the most mysterious devices Rick and Morty has ever introduced. Thanks to an owner's manual, here's what we know they can do.

The Plumbus is one of Rick and Morty's strangest unexplained inventions. The animated series has spent plenty of time highlighting the various devices that Ric Sanchez created, and viewers have largely gained an understanding of them as a result, but the Plumbus continues to confuse audiences over its purpose. This is especially true since Rick and Morty says that the device is so common and well-known that there's no reason to explain it.

They were first seen in the season 2 episode "Interdimensional Cable 2: Tempting Fate," with the bulk of its attention coming in an episode of "How They Do It." This show explored how a Plumbus is made and describes it as a common household and office item. Plumbuses are made through an incredibly complicated process, which includes cutting the dinglebop, creating fleeb juice, and much more. While the process is detailed, Rick and Mortydoesn't really describe what it can do.

Thankfully, some DVD extras for season 2 of Rick and Morty helped explain what a Plumbus is actually capable of doing. As explored in the latest Screen Rant video, the owner's manual for a Plumbus provides us with plenty of details on the uses of a Plumbus - and they are wide-ranging, to say the least. It can duplicate itself if placed near a reflective surface and also holds cooking, cleaning, and music playing capabilities. The device also has an airplane mode and can climb stairs - but it is very clearly stated that it is not to be used for pleasuring.

With all of these various functions that a Plumbus serves, there's also some additional possible capabilities that they carry. For starters, they are made out of organic tissue in some form, can transmit radio waves, and can create heat. With all of these abilities, a Plumbus could serve a similar purpose as a microwave, just unlike any microwave we've ever seen before. There's also the possibility that all of this could give a Plumbus the same abilities as a regular iron, but the highly advanced space version of the device.

As you can see, there is a lot that a Plumbus can do - far more than any ordinary household item. All of these capabilities have only been hinted at through the owner's manual, but they are accurate considering the source. Considering Rick and Morty's stance on "everyone knows what a Plumbus can do," it is more likely that the series will continue to avoid showing a Plumbus actually being used. But, with multiple new seasons of Rick and Morty on the way, there is a chance that it could surprise viewers in a different way and actually demonstrate the Plumbuses capabilities.

My wife was not impressed with my portal gun this morning. Can’t please everyone but I especially like the wall projection and portal sound it also makes.

I could see mounting that under the cabinet somewhere so that it projects the porthole underneath or in front of the machine

BSE number 115 is coming to Louisiana and I haven’t been this excited for a new machine since TNA!

I like this list you are running by the way, people often say Pinside is a small percentage of the pinball market but it is certainly a sizable percentage of the sales of this fantastic title.

Quoted from Coindork:

Mount under machine and aim at back wall. R&M uses a launch button rather than shooter, right? Why not tie shooter button to trigger projection?

Quoted from monkfe:

So maybe a foot pedal would be simplest.

#5567 4 years ago

Why is it a shocker?

#5568 4 years ago

#2046 = BSE 658

I'm excited for this pin, I'm a big fan of TNA... This is my first spooky pinball!
I have to give much respect to Charlie and the whole Spooky team,
The fact that you go out your way to answer questions, and even entertain us is epic.

Congrats on everything and Thanks.

Can't wait to see what the surprise is!

#5569 4 years ago

A really cool surprise would be if all the buyers got to be listed in the credits of an episode and were seen as cartoon versions of ourselves in some inter-dimensional pinball tournament on the show!

Really anything Spooky provides will be awesome!

My wife apparently got me socks for Hanukkah this year and I am not even mad!

Maybe one of you prior Spooky customers can answer this for me....

Is a playfield protector a typical pre-production option on a Spooky game? I think I’d like to get one for this game as it’s going to be a fairly low run of games and installing it prior the assembly seems like a smart move.

Not an order option usually
Plastic protectors yes.
Playfield protectors can look like shit, also roll overs and other switches require adjustment
Just play that bitch and wax it.

Light sensor in place of launch button, must aim portal gun at sensor?

Designing/animating 750 incidental characters for a few seconds of screen time would cause a studio walkout lol

Make it so the meseeks have name badges. They could focus on those complaining about those selling their spots and start a fight over it. lol

Still no game number what is going on.

Is there anyone else out there that has not received a game number?

Thank you

#5587 4 years ago

I can’t remember who but I promised a picture of TNA #2 to show scoop quality of pf for spooky games.

This game likely has more play than almost any TNA given how long it has been on route and constant play.

You can see just the slightest amount of wear starting. This is impressive compared to any other game.

I don’t think anyone who ordered from pinball star has a number yet. As of yesterday my buddy didn’t.

I would have thought for sure the numbers would have been available.

I haven’t gotten one yet either .

#5594 4 years ago

Yes i did read all posts. Yes i know they said hhp = rick and morty. Scott said he new it was RAM from the beginning. But the fact that they went through the effort of making a decoy box seemed interesting. Ep answered it right after your post. Just a sticker.

#5595 4 years ago

Airball I am in on Rick and Morty with Joe and there is nothing to worry about. I emailed asking and he said they are working on slotting numbers . Give him a few days. I can guarantee everything will be A-OK. Joe does not f@&k around!

Side note: I want my number also.

Frank

#5596 4 years ago

I think/hope this game will be its own special episode and specific story line of the series instead of a collection of unrelated, but fun events.

Yeah im talking quest based perhaps.

One could even refer back to it in a series flashback. It would be way cool to see it referenced in the show.

I really liked what they did with the doctor who game. Time Streams is its own story by itself.

I ordered at 7:03 Pacific time. It’ll be interesting where we all fall into place.

With how many they sold and were allocated, I’m sure they’ll be fair with who gets what slot and when they paid.

got an email today from pinball star. they gave you till 5:00 pm to let them know if you were going to stay standard. reason being there were very few standards and you would have to wait to the very end. i switched to bse and sent the balance. i dont want to be last. i would have loved to get a very limited std but not waiting 2 years for this. the email said the spots would be sorted out very soon.
