    "R&M fan age group"
Yet another reason to use the actual acronym RAM

    #53 11 months ago

Learned about the show from my daughter, who is 23 (I'm 61). Personally I like Futurama better and I still want a Futurama pinball. But I think the potential is there with Rick and Morty for a great game. I hope Spooky is up to it.

That's just a reason to fix the Pinside quotation code.

No one searches by those "acronyms" anyway (most of them are just abbreviations), and if they did for RAM, they'll get mostly memory chip references. Thousands of them.

No one is going to go around using it like an "actual" acronym, saying or thinking the word "ram" instead of "Rick & Morty" as is the whole point of a true acronym.

Finally, an ampersand IS an "and" and it conveys more information than a letter "A" does.

So the only valid reason left to insist on RAM is that you don't like ampersands, I guess. I'm sure that will be given appropriate deliberation.

Hey, could be worse, what are the poor Stranger Things folks gonna do?

It's not like we ole folk are new to this type of cartoon and humor. Adult Swim is nearly 20 years old and Cartoon Network has been broadcasting edgy adult oriented cartoons for longer than that. For example Space Ghost and Ren & Stimpy.

Ren & Stimpy was a Nickelodeon show for kids. The adult reboot version was on Spike TV.
