Where can I buy board-side plugs like is pictured in the bottom of this picture? I am looking for a 40-pin to install on a ni-wumpf driver board that did not come with it installed.

If the connector on the System 80 Ni Wumpf boards are the same as the one used on a computer motherboard like you pictured, you'll need an IDE cable.

To double check, I'd try contacting them.

Yes, it's definitely an IDE cable. What I can't figure out is the correct terminology for the actual board-side plug. Searching IDE connectors gets you nothing but gibberish. There is a name for that connector, but I don't know what it is.

Oh, I misread your first post. I thought you were looking for the cable, not the header pins. I'm not sure who makes them.

I'd call it a shrouded header. Here's one that might work for you.

Heck - if you're going with a shrouded header then go for all the gusto.
Get one with ejectors as well. If you have room - nothing beats these.
Check Mouser for part number 71918-240LF
