Quoted from Gotpins:OK, I hooked up a keyboard and hit "f" for fix like the screen said and sure enough the game started up! That was so easy i'm still amazed by it!!
But I power cycle the machine and the CPU will not start on its own. But, when I hit the physical button on the cpu it starts right up and the game plays. So I'm pretty happy right now as the game will play. But I could be happier if cpu would boot all on it's own. I'm pretty sure there was something in the cpu bios that makes the cpu start automatically. I remember hitting F2 or F12 or something like that and it would open a window of options. I just can't remember how to do it and I don't want to mess anything else up while I'm poking around in there. Thanks!
It's likely that when you replaced the battery on the motherboard the bios lost its settings. You need to go back to the keyboard and hit whatever key that motherboard needs to go into the bios. Configure the settings to boot on power off/on. The usual default is that it requires a power button the the PC to boot.
