Sorry guys, I had to remove these as we had them up for beta testing. Jim will release info soon on how to get these. Thanks,

Quoted from MustangPaul:Is that for real?
HAHA! Yeah it is definitely for real. They are called SLA 3D printers and are not that expensive. These type of printers use UV curable resin and UV lasers to create an object.
The upside to these type of printers is that they can make highly detailed, clear-ish, objects, but the downside is that over time, natural UV light will break down the part. This should not be a problem in a pinball machine though.

Quoted from MustangPaul:Crap...wish my Mom was alive to see this. She was born in 1916 so you can imagine the tech changes she had see, but this...this is like Star Trek in real life kind of stuff. Now if they could do this with metal.
Yeah for sure! That would be amazing to get her perspective on technology. Just imagine what we are going to see.
So, the future is definitely here... There is a comany called 3DSystems that makes Production 3D printers. They are VERY expensive, but this one uses a technology called DMP (Direct Metal Printing).
