Looking for a replacement plastic 31-3437-13 that is located to the right of the left ramp. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a German RFM. Wiring is a bit different in the backbox. I did a restore and I am finishing reassembly. Don’t have pics of the backbox wiring and have several 3 pin molex connectors. Manual doesn’t provide much in the way of details. Any help or pics of the backbox wiring would be helpful.

Thanks for the pics. I’m specifically looking for pictures of the cable running from the power box (top right white wire) up to the back of the back box. I want to make sure I don’t toast anything before I power this back on...here’s a pic of the cable I am tracing.

This pic is very helpful. Starting to believe the cable on mine shouldn’t be plugged in at all. One last favor: a few pics from the back of the backbox cable connections? Thanks!

Thanks again. So it probably has nothing to do with being a German version. Maybe a later model? The video board is in a different location. Any insight?

Not sure if this is a dumb question or not, but should I be able to plug headphones into Out on the audio board on my RFM?

#2235 1 year ago
Quoted from wayout440:

What are you plugging into? Since the game is setup to run the program off the Prism, I would assume that any "standard" jacks may not be working, they would need to be controlled with a standard operating system and drivers. If you went to attach your headphones directly to the amplifier output to the speakers, your headphones may have a different impedence, perhaps.

Plugging standard headphones into the Out jack on the audio board.

Just changed out the cpu fan on my RFM. When I power up should the fan come on immediately? I powered on for a couple of minutes but turned it off when the fan didn’t start.

I plugged it in differently than the original fan. Plugged into the board (tried 2 spots) not pigtailed off the power supply. Should that make a difference?

Quoted from Ricochet:

I've mine plugged into the board and it works. Has the fan ever run?

It’s a new fan, so I don’t know for sure but will test it tonight.

This is the one I bought...works like a champ!

These need to be 3 pin type, non speed controlled fans. The yellow wire is a tach signal that the CPU may or may not choose to look at (in this case I don't think it gives a crap). So as long as its plugged in correctly and not obstructed it should just work. Make sure its not twisted or mounted funny, it doesn't take much to stop these things from rotating.

That’s the same fan that I installed.

Seems to be a defective fan. I put a 9v battery to the old fan, it fired right up. No response when testing the new fan. Oh well. Thanks for the help!
