A 22" LCD really does fit the shots nicely, although I found that I had to offset the whole monitor to the left. I believe LED is what you want to reduce the ambient glow of the screen and get the best contrast ratio you can so that black is black.

Quoted from DeathHimself:

does the monitor need to be a certain type that the sides can get mounted into a frame like tabs or something or will any monitor do?

I don't know about official mounting kits. Mine was done when I bought it and it just has a home made wood frame and some little brackets to hold it. It doesn't need a lot to keep it in place as gravity wants it to be there anyway.

Quoted from Gov:

So just goof off and rag then?
I do have to say I put the glass in the machine and it nearly doubled the brightness of the monitor compared to the original glass.

What's different? It is some sort of repro he's selling?

Here's my 22" display, the monitor is a Hanns-G HZ221. The main issue I have with LCD is the pixelated look.

I cringe every time I see that figure. I can't find it for less than $450 in the UK.

Quoted from Luppin:

hello, I am going to check soon a RFM and decide if buying it or not. The owner says everything is fine and working perfectly.
Is there anything in particular for this pin that you suggest to check/inspect?

RFMs often have a lot of non-working switches. It's not a huge problem as they can be replaced with a bit of screwing and soldering but it is extra expense and effort that might not be welcome for the newbie.

My RFM has nasty scratches on the glass which is annoying but you don't actually notice it much while playing.

Also, make sure the Stroke of Luck scoop reliably shoots the ball to the left flipper.

Could someone please help out an Englishman with little memory about what Clinton got up to with what is funny about "Hilary, come here, you gotta see this"?

I'd never thought about the curvature thing. I suppose it makes sense but I haven't noticed anything looking distorted on my LCD and how do the video tests look on the original monitor? because mine look perfectly square.

I would be interested to see a photo of Paris in Peril on an unmodified machine for comparison as I don't know what it is "supposed to" look like.
