I am running original hardware. I disabled Extra Balls for now, until it gets fixed. This might have something to do with the new Extra Ball animation. Maybe applejuice can look into this?

No, this is going to be a new hardware kit and will require v2.6 or newer aswell. It is not a simple thing to achieve, but physical locks are something this game was meant to have originally, so work needs to be done to achieve it
