There is also version 1.8 for tournament support.

Now that I have a day off....my RFM and some pics of the NOS playfield. I also noticed that as well as the different mode positions/names this pf is copyrighted 1998. The one in my machine is dated 1999. If I do eventually use it, extra clear would be applied, sort of don't want to use it now as it may be rare....any input on how scarce this is?IMG_0714.JPG (Click image to enlarge)IMG_0715.JPG (Click image to enlarge)IMG_0716.JPG (Click image to enlarge)IMG_0717.JPG (Click image to enlarge)IMG_0718.JPG (Click image to enlarge)IMG_0719.JPG (Click image to enlarge)IMG_0720.JPG (Click image to enlarge)IMG_0721.JPG (Click image to enlarge)IMG_0723.JPG (Click image to enlarge)IMG_0726.JPG (Click image to enlarge)IMG_0727.JPG (Click image to enlarge)

Maybe someone knows more codes or funny things in p2k?
I can provide game version >1.6 but there are some changes you may don't need or want.
In 1.9 you don't need to upgrade the system RAM which you need in 1.8...
Also you will get the tributes to Joe Dillon back.
And as you mentioned the "new callouts and Animations" are implemented...
And of course the online tournament server is still runing
The tests for 1.9 aren't big so I don't know any problems or stability issues.
Bigger RAM in 1.8 is needed for high amount of visible/scrolling online player in attractmode.
Revenge From Mars - Revision History
Version: 1.9 - 21 November, 2017
XINA Version: 1.22
(Changes From 1.80)
This version doesn't need 8MB of system memory anymore!
Tributes to Joe Dillon reactivated.
Maybe some other stuff like unused animations, sounds,...
Changed blinking attractmode lightshow with some prettier choreography.
Version: 1.8 - 23 April, 2006
XINA Version: 1.21
(Changes From 1.70)
This version requires 8MB of system memory.
Version: 1.7 - 16 April, 2006
XINA Version: 1.20
(Changes From 1.60)
This version includes JTS.
Quoted from applejuice:
*8Mb ram still needed if running original hardware, based on my own tests, as set from v1.8 onwards
I am quite sure that is not correct! Or did you changed? If so whats the reason?
That was temporarily for a high amount of scrolling tournamentplayers. It was decreased to factory RAM in >1.8 just because not to touch the Computer hardware...
The Pinball 2000 Updatemanager is of course not for Pinbox!
Normally you need to put the update on an USB thumbdrive and load it in Nucoremenu.
I really don't know why you think it is necessary to upgrade the factory RAM?!
I personally changed it in the XINA sourcecode.
As I mentioned in my previous post https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/rfm-hillary-come-here-you-gotta-see-this/page/47#post-4739340
Quoted from wiggy07:
You may experience some issues with the new update. I also experienced the Super Jackpot shot in the beginning not working after the update. When you hold the left flipper and push the launch button, the gate should open in the top left corner of the playfield. After the update it is no longer working. I reverted back to code 1.6 and it is working again. I thought it had something to do with my wiring in the cabinet. Seems like it is the update affecting the game.
I noticed that too. It is a quite easy fix for 2.01...
Quoted from bobwiley:
Man, so excited about all the updates!
Are sound files easy to add? Was thinkning if memory wasnt any issue and not too much of a hassle we could add some more callouts and have a setting for which president you want: Clinton, Bush, Obama, or Trump. Would be cool to keep it current. Thank you for all the software (and now hardware!) work!
No he can't do and he won't be able to do so without the tools and raw sounds...
Quoted from applejuice:
More graphics creation
The mode starts... Have a short vid to share later of the mode starting up with the lamp and sound effects (like the wpc era games do)
Where do you get the space for new graphics?
All images except of 2 which are in flash are in the masked roms?!
Or is your update made with new roms and only for Nucore/Pinbox?
How do modify the sound roms without the raw sounds?
This symptome always occurs if you haven't installed the networkcard but set the IP adress in communications!
Just blank them or install the SMC networkcard and it should not happen any more.
It is off course not a hack or some modification!
During production of the games they mounted the tilt on the right and on the left side!
