I recently played this machine on location at Mom's Organic Market in College Park, MD. I found the game to be enjoyable, but frustrating because the playfield is so dark. I had trouble seeing what I was shooting for. Is this darkness just the way the game is designed?

The particular one I played seemed to be set up to give a multi-ball on the last ball, or else it had a ball save on the last ball.

I like the theme of the game and that it is unique, but I'm wondering if I would get frustrated with the dark playfield?

Also, how difficult is this machine to maintain? Do I need some old Windows PC laptop to run it or do software upgrades? Are the old monitors troublesome, or is there a modern replacement that is the way to go.

Yup, some sort of projection images were happening. They also were not real bright. I'll have to try and play it again sometime.

Great questions by Bohm. That concern has stopped me from pursuing a purchase of the machine, so I'm eager to hear what the consensus is from the owner group/experts on here.
