Sometimes (pin not playing, only attract mode), a coil in the back fires up constantly.
Nearly like ball search.
I believe it must be a mechanical problem no electrical problem, beacause it happens not always only sometimes.
And in 1 of 10 times, when this happens the coil in the ball cave and the shooterlane makes the same and then i have all the balls around.

Why does this happen, whre is the fault, what can i do?

Thanks for the help.

Sounds like the game thinks a ball is in there. I would suspect that the switch that accompanies that coil is sometimes triggering. Inspect it and try reflowing solder. If not, replace it.

Or it's not detecting all the balls in the trough and thinks one is stuck somewhere on the playfield. Might be a intermittent solder joint on one of the trough optos. Try reflowing solder to all the optos on both trough boards.

Update:
After "tuning" the switch the issue is gone.

Thank you all for your help.
