Is there an adapter which can be purchased which will allow an Atari 2600 or 7800 to be connected to an LCD television?

I have seen recommendations about using a VCR, but we haven't had one in a decade.

Wow I would be curious if this would even work - the VCS intentionally manipulated the screen images to capitalize on CRT technology and persistence of vision- I hope you get this figured out, would love to see the differences when hooked up to an LCD
