    Did this but it was awhile ago. You need to move the black wire on the accessory outlet from before the switch to after the switch. You can use your meter on AC to test which black wire on the switch is live all the time vs. live only when the game is powered on.

    It's a great way to control mods such as lighting or powered subs.
