Can't recall if I asked, TOM?

Quoted from kcZ:Looks "pretty" good. Those edges make me a bit hesitant. I wonder if there is something else that could be done on those edges like beveling them.
Looks good in your last pic but that second pic is not the best.
That is my only "complaint" ... well, that and I'd love to have the option for glossiness/finish.
Quoted from kcZ:JP are too simple for this method. I bought a vinyl cutter and made my own.
A smooth, shiny finish would look awesome on JP. Not to mention the decals are pricey.
Quoted from freddy:Price offsets labor cost with other methods.
With a better end result! Priced fairly for quality of product.
I can just see myself screwing up the vinyl install.
Quoted from Pahuffman:Would it not be possible to smooth the edges with sand paper and apply a small, thin coat of clear where needed?
I'm assuming that is what was done here, but where do you get the decals? The only stuff I've seen is the full vinyl wrap. I mean, I guess you could cut the art out of the background. But is there a service or way to get just the art to apply and clear over it? Because all I have found are the full cabinet wraps for like $300 and I know I'll screw that up.
Uh.... yeah, so can you share that? Because I have no way to scan my cabinet! ... maybe want to sell me a set?
Quoted from kcZ:I'd be willing to send you the scan files. Not terribly interested in cutting them tho. Id have to order more vinyl, these decals are very wasteful... You are essentially cutting each color to the full width and tossing all the black areas.
It was a bit of a challenge to install them, I did it wet. If I were to do them again, I'd get some wide transfer tape and assemble colors off the cabinet.
Thinking about it more, I would try stencils like Pinball Pimp does.
Ahhh... yeah, I'd have to get them cut since I have no way. I assumed you used transfer tape, but I guess wet is an option. Still contemplating going with the full decal.. wondering if it might be worth it to cut those out.
