Can one still use flipper toppers or decals with halos after they’re set to the desired position? The consistency/playability improvement of halos with bushings sounds compelling, but I’d like to keep the flipper art/toppers. I assume it’s possible with good 3M tape or similar?

    Quoted from punkin:

You could drill a hole in the topper for access to the adjustment screw i suppose.

Oh hell no...I was just curious if others have installed flipper toppers/decals on these halo flippers? I know there's less surface area to stick to, but I don't see why it wouldn't work after final flipper adjustments are done. Like game toppers, once you start installing them, all of your games have to have them LOL.

    Quoted from parsonsaj:

I thought the whole point of halos was to be able to see the game artwork through them?

I prefer flipper art/toppers, but would like the benefits of the halos. I’ll probably be order full sets for GNR, Maiden and R&M soon. Those pins have sloppy and inconsistent flippers, at least for me.

    Quoted from 1956PINHEAD:

Here's a good example of how the HALO's compliment the playfield, note the writing that would eitherwise be covered by the flipper bats on Star Trek. Normally the only time you'd see that writing is when the flipper is actuacted.

Wow, I never noticed the port and starboard thrust writing on the STLE. So halos with no toppers/decals it is on Star Trek!
