Game - for sale

REVERSE AUCTION! Whoa Nellie! Big Juicy Melons

Added: 2022-12-02 05:14:24 UTC • Re-listed: 1 time (January 13th, 2023) • Ended: April 5th, 2023
Condition: OIB - Old in box (older than 3 years, never unboxed)

Price

$ 10,295 (OBO)

Open for offers

Tough game to find pricing on so I am listing as a reverse auction. $100 off the sale price each weekday M-F until it sells!

This is not a Stern.
Whizbang Whoa Nellie, Big Juicy Melons!

Whizbang made a total of 4 Whoa Nellies and about 20 conversion kits prior to contracting out to Stern for the modified run.

This is a Continental Cafe Conversion game. Whizbang’s run consisted of 1 EM and 3 Solid State games plus the other 20 kits. Of the conversion kits, one decade later, I know of this competed game, one game in California, as well as a semi complete game out of New Jersey. This makes this one of 3 actual complete EM Whoa Nellies.

Open to all reasonable offers. Can ship. Would take BBB, IJPBA, Elvira and similar games as trades + or - cash.

Well, it’s good to know I have a buyer lined up, even if it’s at -$10,005. I got a good chuckle regardless

Funny timing, I was actually chatting with the owner of the original EM build about this game earlier today.

How many weekdays has it been? Must be around 30 now. So it’s down 3k from the current price? Is that how it works? Or have you been reducing it each day so it’s now at the price reduced?

Looks like you get it in 19 days

I give seller a modicum of credit for creativity. The game itself was a novelty from the start, and as far as playability (original or Stern issue), is horrible to even a below average skilled player(such as me). Seller is obviously, and smartly, deficit on clarity to selling parameters. Probably best suited for a different audience to extract maximum selling price.

I’ve been going in and reducing the advertised price every day by $100.

Not really sure where I’m trying to obviously be deficient on clarity. If you have any questions, ask. I’m sorry you don’t like the game.

What was the starting $, and how many, week days have elapsed? Just curious, I have a buddy, who owns, and enjoys the game. I was probably a little douchey in that first reply to thread.
