so my RFM is having issues.

i can't get the Reed switch to work 100% of the time.

it seems to work in the switch check menu but thats if i roll the ball with my hands slowly over the switch

in real game time the switch seems to work 25% of the time.

i noticed that their are 3 total switches for this do all three need to be triggered for the ball lock to start?

someone please help

but its the Reed switch not a roll over switch.

form what i understand its hard to find new Reed switches.

i did just have to adjust a bunch of roll over switches 6 to be exact but they are all working now.

Its just the magnetic Reed switches that don't seem to be working

I know they can be flipped around and mounted backwards im not sure what way their suppose to go. Anyone have a photo

Edit Issue not fixed!

Issue fixed.

So I turned the switches around so that they are the furthest from each other as Posible.

Now it seems to read it every time. Wanted to update everyone in case someone runs into the same problem.

ok scratch what i said i didn't fix it.

when i first got the game the ball locked worked no problem. but i have a bunch of roll over switches out. i fixed the switches and then all of a sudden the ball lock didn't work. i didn't think it was related.

now when i moved the reed switches around and started playing it worked 100% noticed after playing there was a credit dot. it was on the roll over switch right behind the reed switches i think its labeled the Center loop roll over switch.

so i just tested it with my finger and got it working not problem. as soon as i did that the ball lock stopped working again.

can anyone explain to me what to do now. is the game thinks that roll over switch is out then the ball lock works. if the roll over is working then the ball lock won't.

Quoted from Crashnburn:

Here is the picture.

i have all my switchs turned the opposite way. but now i realize the position doesn't matter it has to do with my roll over switch right behind the reed switches

Any ideas?

I got the center roll over switch non active again by unhooking the lead now the ball lock works perfect!

So it's something related to that switch.

Anyone have any ideas what I can do?

Is it a board issue?
