Revenge From Mars Bally, 1999

Hey Pinside

Happy new year! I am hoping that someone can help me identify what they think the problem is with my monitor in my Revenge from Mars. When it starts up cold, the video will be heavily distorted. It gets progressively better, and then after warming up for about 5 to 10 minutes, it will be fully clear and operate normally. You can see a video of it booting up cold via the following URL:

Any thoughts on how to fix this? I would really prefer to stick with a monitor, and not install an LCD. I believe this has a Wells-Gardener 19K7302 monitor.

Have you tried tweak the potentiometers on the remote board of the chassis?
It looks to me like a synch issue which you might loose if you tweak on the remote board (near the fl tube).

I have not tried that. Thanks for the idea. I will try this out and let you know how things go.

It looks like you have lost both vertical and horizontal sync.
